I remember listening to this song before I graduated back in 2006. It's only a diploma, but everytime I listen to this song, it takes me back to that memory before waking across that stage. This song will forever be in my long term memory ❤❤❤❤
💯💯Heavy Rotation then & Now@ its such a FEEL GOOD, REFRESHING SONG FOR THE SOUL! MAKES YOU REMEMVER WHO YOU ARE! I graduated 2006 TOO! Where u graduate from?
GOD this song makes me cry every time i hear it. Shes singing about every human being that ever lived.I have never heard anything like it.GOD bless her!
It’s 2022 and this song still touches my soul like it did when I was kid. This song really helped me through a lot that I was going when I first heard this song, just a little bit of my testimony I was bullied a lot as a kid for being me, having urine thrown on me for just being myself. This song helped me keep my head held high. Hearing this song after all these years just tore me up today
It's very rare to hear a Davidic harp being utilized in a woman of colour's song as it was in this very spirited rendition. The heavenly poise and grace these two people displayed here is beyond compare. Well done Jeff and Kelly.
So sorry. Could never even imagine the pain. Live your life for your son, taking advantage of every opportunity to help others. Your son is in God's memory. No better place to be.
Everything God created IS a SOLUTION, for He created everything to solve a problem. Therefore everyone can say "I AM A SOLUTION", and truly believe and live it!! A very deep composition indeed. Thanx for the contibution.
I, too, agree with Kevin Tarr. Kelly's gift permeates through her voice, and we are so blessed to be able to enjoy her anointing through her music. Kelly is a true gem. Jeff is a anointed musician as well. His gift in playing his string instrument is God's gift as well. Together they make a great anointed duo. May God continue to keep blessing them.
Too see someone actually perform playing a harp is incredible. That instrument is one that is often not perfomed. To add it to a beautiful song with lyrics & a person that has a dynamic voice, this is a 10 in book.
A song that really always touches my spirit! :) She sings with such power, and these words are indeed true! "So look across the ocean See those on distant corners Or see the one beside you Look in their eyes long enough You will know This one (talkin bout this one), That one (talkin bout that one), Each one is God's Gift to the World."
02/27/21 Peaceful Peaceful rising to everyone. Had to send this through my spirit as we are all his creations. And special in his eyes. Create Create a Peaceful Peaceful One for yourselves. Billie ✌🏿
Swear this song is so meaningful. Memories when it use to be played on the radio when I was always around my grandmother. I could just cry now leaving me in my feelings
I can relate to how you feel brother. I think about every single person ive ever seen in my life and im 51 years old. I cry every time i hear it believe me!
@JumpStreet1983, I'm with you on that comment. That's going on a lot with blacks in the industry today. I guess real talent just doesn't matter. It's a shame. This woman has a beautiful voice & I love this song. Let's pray 4 the future for our blacks.
The instrumentalist is so masterful. I'm just speechless. Seeing this for the first time. My aunt had a big harp that sat right nevt to the fireplace that I use to try to play as a child. When I moved to a small city to pacify my loneliness I wanted to a me a pottery class to make harps.
This song is soo beautiful. But I don't understand why it's so hard to find it. It's like it doesn't exist. This song is not even on ITunes are anything.
Perhaps it was hard to find, because some, like me were thinking the artist was Aretha Franklin. Wonderful, Excellent, Kelly Price! (People, please do not be too hard on those of us who thought it was Aretha.) Absolutely beautiful Kelly and Jeff Majors!
This song just came into my spirit as I'm thinking about the current state of the world with the lives being recklessly lost in the wars in Russia/Ukraine and Israel/Palestine because Each ONE is God's gift to the world. Why? Because each person is unique, with different personalities, gifts and talent that makes the world what it is! That's why when ANY life is taken we should all hurt and mourn...because that ONE can't be recreated.
Since i heard her this gospel song, & seen her perform a gospel song on the christian network. She's my favorite female singer. I didn't reconize her r&b music, but she can really sing. And the thing is i wish i like gospel music. It changed so much, hollering & riffing, but Kelly is really singing it.
I really love this song! It reminds us that we are all God's gift to the world and it should inspire parents to treat their children that way God treats all of us! Great song!
i have always loved kelly price's voice even when she was singing r&b, but its really great to see her using her talent for the Lord. Kelly Price, luv u and God bless u!! Keep hitting those high notes
THIS is the song that I had a filling yet burst out of my soul experience with once. I just wasn't to sure about the name of it. It was as if it were being sung within me and the part where she really reached her peek was the part that I so full(because the spirit world is so much stronger than the natural realm) that I busted out of myself and woke up. I have never even met the women. It was as though the song possessed my soul with a clarity of spirit that I could never fully explain.
This woman's voice is awesome. I didn't reconize her talents when she sung r&b. But this song, with Jeff Majors music, I think she's exta-ordinary! Put's me in mind of a young Aretha. But with her own style. This is singing, & the music is tight!
kelly has done it all in her storied career from working with jay-z and kells to gospel, kelly i love you for this song,it makes me have a little sprit.thank you kelly price.
Love it and love the harp also, never knew that was that instrument being played. Amazing, and she sounds just like the song i have on my phone.. the recorded one
Thank you Al Jarreau for this song but something spiritually power happens when sista Kelly Price sings it. I know othen when i face racial in justice myself, I have hear to this song so i can forbare and forgive those who hurt me, even when i dont see anything good in myself, to stay kind to others.😢
If I'm not mistaken, this song was originally recorded in 1990-1991 by Phil Perry and CeCe Winans. Jeff Majors and Kelly Price's version here (as AWESOME as it is) is a remake.
Lalah hathaway is truly amazin real talk her remake of forever for always for love and her song better and better...she is 1 classy talented black woman and her father RIP Donnie Hathaway...she get it str8 from him.... mad luv.
