His comment about the best punter being negligibly better than the 15th best punter is absurd. When Jeff Feagles was our punter he was an absolute weapon. Coughlin knew that if we were punting we were going to win the field position battle with Feagles.

I like the picks made by Joe Schoen in the 2024 draft, especially the TE Theo Johnson and the RB Tyrone Tracy. Theo immediately replaces Darren Waller and Tyrone Tracy is a smart pick after Saquon's departure. Tracy has better than average pass catching skills for a running back coming from his days as a receiver in college.

I think it's a little optimistic to say that Johnson is gonna immediately replace Waller. He seemed very raw and will need a fair bit of coaching before he's NFL ready. Assuming Waller retires I'd expect Bellinger to be the starter

I am not impressed with 3rd round pick Abdru Phillips. 3rd round picks are supposed to be NFL starter ready. Look at his stats he gets beat by college receivers 67% of the time. This guy stinks. Bad pick.

The kid has not even seen the field and you're already calling him a bad pick? That is a terrible take straight up. Andru's coaches have praised him for being sticky in coverage and for his tackling. This defense needs more of that and I will take it.

@@davissinclair4945 not what I seen in stats and video of him. Poor tackling skill. He gets beat 67% of time ball is thrown at him. He might have good combine scores in speed and running to cones. But his playing stats for college don't lie. This guy is a bust.

The Giants will always stink no matter what they do. The Eli Manning Giants have been described by football executives and pundits as THE WORST TEAM TO EVER WIN TWO SUPER BOWLS!!!! Both against the greatest team of all time... but they are the Giants so they STINK.
