Jeff's Double Standard when it comes to Barcode  

He said in an interview that he wished to protect Barcode against all the negative things he himself had to go through when young in the industry. That makes my heart hurt to think of what that means and what Jeff have had to endure. But also very happy that barcode has someone like Jeff to protect hin against all the predators that we all know exist in this industry.

Barcode is young. It's so heartwarming to see he has such a good brother like Jeff who takes care and looks after him. Like Jeff said, he sees himself on Barcode. The BL industry is not all rainbow and sunshine. It's so great to see Jeff trying his best to protect Barcode.

I 100% don't think there is a romantic relationship at all between these two. I think it is very much brotherly and one of protection. I think Jeff see's Barcode as pure, innocent, talented, and with drive. Jeff wants to protect Barcode from the unfortunate/brutal side of the entertainment industry. You could even see it with the hosts, he was abosolutly not going to let them push Barcode even an inch. Its truely a beautiful relationship. I’ve noticed Jeff doing this with Barcode a lot and not in the “jealous boyfriend” way like a lot of people seem to think 🙄 but in the older caring friend who’s been in that industry for years and knows that it has bad people who would take advantage of someone as young and cute as Barcode, and while he’s doing that he’s always encouraging Barcode with a smile and I honestly respect that

Jeff is very protective of Barcode. As some has said on here already, he wants to protect him from what he endured. Então, fora o fato primário de KinnPorsche ser obviamente uma série para maiores (e ter sido o debute do Barcode quando ele tinha apenas 17 anos) todos sabemos que muitas coisas, que honestamente não valem a pena serem mencionadas, aconteceram durante E depois da produção e lançamento da série. Aliás, Jeff ele mesmo mencionou em uma entrevista (não lembro qual agora) que ele gostaria de proteger/evitar que Barcode passasse pelas experiências negativas que o próprio Jeff passou quando começou (também muito jovem) na indústria do entrenimento! Pela vaga ideia que temos do quão insana é essa indústria, só posso imaginar o quão difícil foi para o Jeff, que ele sentiu a necessidade de proteger o Barcode e evitar que ele passasse por essas situações também...
