We love live music at Fierce Beastie, no matter the genre - we get such a buzz from listening and watching amazingly talented artists perform on stage.
That's especially true in small venues around Scotland where live music enthusiasts go out of their way to book fantastic acts that normally play to large audiences in cities and large venues. So when we heard American songwriter Jeffrey Foucault was appearing at a small village hall less than 30 miles away from FB HQ, we jumped at the opportunity to catch his set.
Playing alongside the legendary, Eric Heywood, who for over twenty years has been on the Americana front lines, playing pedal steel and guitar with bands and artists like Son Volt, The Jayhawks, John Doe and Joe Henry.
Great night with old and new songs going down well with an enthusiastic crowd.
