My son died of a heroin (relapse) overdose two weeks ago , this song is basically how I was communicating to him , he was only 32 yrs old , I thought he was over the hump ... those cools strangers got to him , no still waters and green pastures did he recognize. I miscalculated his resilience , I am at such a internal loss , don't know why to carry on. I meet you in Walla Walla Wa. awhile back ,your song writing is spot on .... good grief.
