I am a musician's kid, and I am so grateful! My Daddy played LTD and Jeffrey Osborne throughout my entire childhood. He now has dementia, but the music, makes him remember EVERYTHING! ❤️
So sorry to hear about your father having dementia but I'm happy to hear he played LTD music to you through out your childhood one of my favorite groups when I was growing up.
The latest on dementia is ingesting coconut oil and also MCT oil-it helps to reverse dementia to some extent. I hope this helps your Dad. Yes we love Jeffrey Osborne and this incredible podcast! God bless you 😊
Yep .. we had loads of music in our house growing up ... I remember when my cousin and I went to see the story of Frankie Valli/Four Seasons on Broadway (comp tickets). ... We were the only Blk people in our section ..LOL ... they were shocked that we knew every song and lyric ... hahahahaha
Yes my 14yr old has my old school in her playlist, I was 8 listening to LTD😍 " Holdn On....Heeey Yeah"🎤🎶🎶😂 this younger generation going to have a hard time creating memories with today's music. Thanks Gentleman for a great interview!😊🙏💕
This episode felt like a Masterclass. I'm not even an artist, and I too felt like I should be taking notes📝 OAN, We Are the World was THEE song of '85! It was not only MY elementary graduation song, but it was THEE graduation song of 1985! Another great one with THEE Authorities of R&B!!👏🏾👏🏾
: "No disrespect. As the disrespect ensues" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Tank and J Valentine is the duo we never knew we needed!!🤣 But one take?????? That's crazy!! Jeffrey Osborne is a living legend
I never heard of this show but I am a 70ties girl and love me some old school R & B. My daughter sent me the link to your interview with the fabulous Whispers. Now Jeffrey Osborne. What a great way to honor these legends. Thank you "youngters" 😊 for bringing these legendary figures to life to your generation. Love this and you guys are hysterical! ❤️🤣🤗 Signed, your new 65 year old subscriber!
I feel ya'..That was my first & only concert I've been to. I was in Philly at the Spectrum..My ship was in the yards there & I had to catch the Jackson's & LTD in concert..Wow, the memories..👌🏾👍🏾😉❤️🙏🏾💯💯
The greatest Vocalist alive. J.O. Is the most underrated singer of our time. 74 and still can get after it. Come on Rock and Roll hall of Fame!!! You trippin. Soul Train, where’s the tribute, Bet wake up!!!! AMA’s where is the tribute. All of y’all are trippin. He deserves it all.
I was a little girl sitting on the floor in our living room listening to all the music my Dad played on the record player. There was alot of different artist being played, but when my Dad played LTD the Togetherness album I would sing every song. Years later when Jeffrey Osborne's solo album came out I finally saw the face of the voice I fell in love with & I have been in love with his voice every since. Thank you R&B Money for this interview and giving Jeffrey Osborne his flowers.
@R&B Money Podcast, I listen to you religiously, and in this last week, I’ve lost an uncle, aunt and cousin, and all the funerals are today 🥺. However, I listened on IHeart and always feel better after listening to you guys. It really does something for my soul and spirit. Mental health is so important and y’all have been a huge part of that since the pod started. Thankful for all that you have done in such a short time. I loved Mr. Osborne’s story and his “I Ain’t Sayin No Names” segment is something else!! I’m still trying to figure out who decided to take it to that level 😅😂 and then they all still did the show. Absolutely amazing. Long live R&B and the R&B Money Podcast. ❤
Finally, a music podcast for the grown folks. Love all your old-school interviews. Keep it coming, and don't forget Peabo, Gladys, Stephanie Mills, etc.
YES!! "Can you woo, woo, woo"! I can't wait to see this episode...Jeffrey Osborne has been one of my favorite R&B artist even since the days of LTD.😉 The song Jeffrey Osborne was thinking of from Donny Hathaway is "Someday We'll All Be Free"....CLASSIC!!

Big ups to Tank and J. Valentine for another banger of a show. Love this weekly batch of refreshing respect and love given to the forbearers of the R&B thing. He was dropping so much knowledge and wisdom and he is still doing it way big even as he approaches 75. Love the content and again hope to catch you guys on tour.
I was just saying to a friend that this legend should be on here, and look at God! This was great, thank you. I'm patiently waiting on Charlie Wilson as a guest.....
Hey beautiful, Thank you for been a true fan through the years . If you dont mind inbox me your digit so i can text and get to know a true fan much better .
Once again R&B Money coming through with the gems. Jeffery Osborne has one of those unmistakable, golden voices. I think of singers like Luther V, Teddy P, Bobby Womack; Jeffery Osborne falls in this group of golden voices. Love Ballad in my opinion is one of the greatest love songs written and performed. When I would have relationship drama, I would play Don't You Get So Mad like clockwork. Thank y'all once again. 🙌🏿
My 23 and 27 year olds were listening!! When I hear their playlists, they are full of classic R&B!!! Also, Love Ballad is one of my favorite love songs ever!!!
I've been a fan of Jeffrey Osborne since LTD!!!! Love Ballad is one of my favorite ballads!!!! Thank you for continuing to give the R&B Legends their flowers and to tell their stories!!!!
@@NatureGirl215LLC Epic indeed. I remember an interview show years ago that featured Peabo, Jeffrey and Luther together. Both Luther and JO sang acapella, but the show ended before Peabo could.

Man when Jeffery busted out maybe I deserve lol. Amazing! He's one of my favorites. You should be mine is that jam. You dudes are killing it! Much love to r&b. God bless
This interview with the legend Mr. Jeffrey Osborne was absolutely AMAZING! I learned so much... and you brothers are great natural, authentic interviewers... Keep 'em coming!
Mr. Valentine's comment about playing our music and music of our parents for our kids or just the younger generation really struck a cord with me. I don't understand why people think if its not on the airwaves currently it's not relevant. Nonsense. All round a really great interview. Keep up the great work and keep them coming. I'm sorry you didn't get the opportunity to interview Mr. James Ingram he was awesome.
Love Ballad. The ultimate mic 🎤 drop of all time. Possibly the most beautiful love song ever written. Made me cry as a child. 😢And I knew nothing about love lol
I love to see Mr. Osborne on the show...Such a nice and humble guy!! Great episode! The R & B Money Podcast is getting to the business! I would love to see more of the legends on the show 💜
I listen to a few podcasts. Long before "the culture" started making podcasts. I watch even fewer. Tank and J.V, let me tell you, gentleman, R&B Money is so good. Nothing but smiles and joy. I get gems, education, laughter, stories, and more. I wholeheartedly enjoy this content every time. During the show, I'd pause and look up some songs I may have missed or haven't heard in a while. Doing research. I have nothing to do with the industry personally, but I always loved it. I love music. I appreciate it's free, but you boys deserve a wild bag for this. HEAR ME? A WILD BAG. Stay blessed, keep inspiring and pushing. And Salute to The OG, Mr. Jeffrey Osborne. 🫡
I love Jeffrey Osborne when he sings: Hey there lady love What‘s on your mind....I just want to tell him all my business. To hear that he was a one take wonder....wow. Makes me appreciate him even more. Thank you for taking time to interview the greats we love.
@R&B Money Podcast thanks again for sharing the Jeffrey Osborne with us this morning. A true Legend. Enjoyed the show and the gems 💎 Jeffrey left us with. Looking forward to next week show. ❤ ohh and it was also nice chatting it up with my R&B MPC Family! 🖤 ❤
I’m 23 & I decided in middle school (around 11-14) that Love Ballad was going to be my wedding song, and I STILL stand on that to this day!! Thankful to my parents for putting me on to TIMELESS hits early! The reason why all my friends call me a grandma today 🤣🤣
Thank you for this delightful platform. I am very pleased to know that you (Tank and J Valantine) are giving R&B legends their flowers 💐. Clean lyrics - Much appreciated :)
This podcast is so good and I have watched several , that this interview made me start from the beginning with jaime Foxx, Eric Benet and now watching Hitmaka. Thank you for keeping our culture alive

This was absolutely phenomenal. My all time favorite crooner, Jeffrey Osborne. I caught LTD on tour with The Jacksons and it’s been Jeffrey ever since. Saw him 2 nights last month, my 14th show. As long as he keeps touring, I’ll be there. Great segment Gentlemen.
I love to hear all the thuggish ruggish bone stories from r & b artists, especially the older ones. "Hip Hop ain't got nothing on us" 😂 This interview was another great one

Whenever J.O. Comes to town I am there. Can listen to him endlessly. He is part of the soundtrack of my youth. But so underrated even though his talent has allowed him to endure. Kudos to Tank and J Val. This show is awesome! Super informative and interesting at the same time. I highly recommend this show for young musicians. It provides a whole other perspective on the music industry!

Whoa! Y'all play too much. Knowing I got stuff to do tomorrow and can't watch until later. This is going to be a great episode. R&B Money Podcast has fast become my favorite podcast! I would definitely come to a live tour. #love
Thank you Mr. Osborne for the enormous amount of information on the business and the importance of taking care of yourself as an artist. I saw your show right before the pandemic and it was on point!!! My sister works with your record label and she insisted that I go to your show. I was blown away, because people always say that as you age the voice is automatically going to go south. You proved that this doesn't have to be the case if you take Divine Care of the voice and eat and rest well. Also, thanks for keeping an open and positive mind in spite of the negative things that artist go through. You love it and it shows. God bless you and Tank and J. Valentine. Excellent interview. I will share this with my students and friends. 🔥🔥🔥
