It's sad how oppressed some Americans are. They've been kept away from the freedom of knowledge. So sad.

I was born in a roman Catholic household and l had a desire to learn...so l tried many religions ..l settled with the jehovah witness but Al hamdu lillah Allah guided me to the wonderful world of Islam over 20years ago. I am always amazed at how ignorant people instead of listening do all the talking. Listening is a good character to have for guidance...thats why we have two ears and one mouth!

I live in Chicago, and Alhamdullah I’m a Muslim, and as a Muslim ,Everyday i learn something new about Islam and other religions and also other peoples opinions,the only reason i want to visit San Diego is just to meet this wonderful man ,May Allah protect him and all Muslims worldwide and May Allah guide everybody to the truth.

I applaud you for your patience, brother Uthman. She was arrogant and pretended to come open minded, yet she came with nothing but talking points and preconceived notions. When her points were refuted, she quickly ran away.

I am sorry for this being a long comment but I believe it needs to be said so here it goes , That lady was driving me crazy not giving him the respect of not being able to explain and answer her questions or her claims so he could let her know the reasons , traditions & beliefs of the Islamic faith traditions - I'm not a muslim but I am very interested and I am learning as much as I can because of the "image" of what has been put out about this faith and its followers. Because of what I have witnessed with my own eyes without the influence of news or certain people's opinions , I see a religion that has standards , obligations & duties to that faith which I believe is necessary but also required & also makes sense for the most part . The people that I have seen that belong to this faith & religion are respectful , humble , giving & peaceful & it bothers me to see so many people not finding out about who these people are and what this faith & religion is really about instead of just going off of what other people are telling them - they don't bother to listen or do their own research to find knowledge or the actual truth about this & unfortunately it seems as if and when they do start to find out like with this gentleman , they refuse to actually listen and disregard it & will not accept what they are being told , it is sad to see so many people to be close minded and not welcome new information & or knowledge about things that I believe should absolutely be discussed and that goes for many other topics as well , but I digress . I just want to thank this man for doing what he is doing to spread knowledge & the truth about this , it takes a lot of courage and strength to do what he is doing ! Much respect to him & may Allah grant you many blessings to you and yours . I atleast Thank you for the messages that I have received if nobody else is thankful or greatful !

This is a great example of how ignorant and rude Jehovahs witnesses are. That woman was very disrespectful and lied about the story her friend told her. Her friend is a fake story made up by her cult. Funny thing is Jehovahs witness men view and treat women like crap. Never would a woman be able to be an teacher or leader. This young man was respectful and has patience. She left because you told her she was instructed wrong on Muslims. JW can't stand to be told they are wrong. She will still spread the propaganda she was taught by the cult.

Some people are scared to find out what they believed all their life to be corrupted. It takes courage to seek the truth , accept it and apply it.

You know when they start overtalking you instead of listening to you, they are not really interested in learning.

MashaAllah, sheikh Uthman was so awesome in this vid, the level of calmness he has, that's something that we muslims should emulate. Me personally I don't think I can have a conversation with the second lady, the "philosopher", OMG, what's up with her, did she want to have a conversation or not? I noticed that you can't have a decent conversation with people who invlove in those new age mysticism, the minute you bring up facts and details, they will continue yapping. But then again, that's the point of da'wah, you receive knowledge, you convey the message, and whether the person accepts it or not, that's between that person and Allah. Wallahu'alam.

I've seen some of your videos and this so far was the most calmest and civil debates you had. No excessive shouting, no insults. For the most part the woman was very respectful and civil which was a nice change of pace.

What I do not understand is why are the Westerners so concerns about the hijab only when muslim women do it? Why do they feel like these women are oppressed? Isnt freedom and democracy about choices? No one is saying that you are oppressed when you are in bikinis so what makes you think someone else is oppressed just because they decide to dress differently?
