You know what gets me is they let kids hear this That part about the birds was my deepest fear as a child in this religion To this day I freak out when I see crows I probably shouldn't have watched this😢 I'm working on recovery with a counselor But dang the methods they are using now are really horrible

Of late, they haven't been talking so much about how God's enemies (which ultimately means all non-Witnesses) will have their corpses eaten by birds in the immediate aftermath of Armageddon. They must have realized that this sounds like fanatical goobledigook to many. But at least when they are just directly quoting the relevant verses without too much extra comment, they apparently feel they can still get away with it. And no matter how obviously symbolic most of Revelation is, they were traditionally quite willing to interpret this very literally.
