I really appreciate pastors educationing the body of Christ about JW's! ❤ Some of this is slightly incorrect, but it's not a huge deal. The lastest NWT was published in 2013. They add the name Jehovah many time in the New Testament. JW's go in pairs for safety. There is no "master" and "student." Some may be more experienced than others, but they would never call anyone a master. My two cents about witnessing to a JW, I would not go for the trinity. There is a lot that is just too difficult for them to grasp. Many JW's do not know that according to the Watchtower, Jesus is only the mediator for the 144,000 and that the NT is only written for them. These would be great things to reason with them on. Also, tell them about the Australian Royal Commission and how Governing Body member Geoffrey Jackson said they are not the only spokespeople for God on earth. Any JW would see that as a lie by him. While it's true that the Watchtower holds that 1 Cor 8:6 is speaking about Jesus as a mediator and so covenant language which they understand to be the mediation of the new covenant between the anointed and God they do also recognize that Jesus died for the whole world. So Jesus didn't die just for the anointed said to literally number 144,000.

Do yourself a favour and research the trinity's origin and understand it stands against the Hebrew Shema that God is one. Jws could have put forth good reasoning to help people see that the "word" in John 1 verse 1 was talking the word personified and not use the spiritist Johannes Greber to mistranslate it. All false religions are designed to break men's faith. At the end of thorough research you will understand Jesus did not have a pre-human existence and that he is not part of a Godhead. The research i came up with is the Trinity doctrine began to develop in the Christian church at the council of Nicaea 325. Do you agree/disagree? The conundrum is in the connection of this doctrine and the timing of the full 27 book NT Christian Bible canon… History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their individual lists of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian doctrine and subsequent councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?
