Thanks John, I dissociated in 2018 aged 57 after diligently studying ex jw apostate videos for 4 years looking for any excuse not to leave but to stay and I couldn't find any. Thanks for your video and sincerity! I admire you ! We are both (husband and I) out since 2021 but I woke up in 2019. We were in for 40+ years My opinion on the JW treatment to on disfellowshipped one is an additional humiliation. I went to the memorial to take my uncle out if compassion since he can not drive anymore (age) and the JW that was going to pick him up are vacationing. We have faded but I guess that now they will remember us and expect a near future knock on the dooor to return!🤦🏽♀️ Thanks for your video and keep well. In the meantime: DOWN WITH THE TOWERRR!

Becoming 64 And I remember the gen we were in high school and became a JW because my now husband (was a JW) he got censored no disfellowshipped because of me but since I was studying the WT literature eith then they gave him the soft treatment. Been married for 41 years and 42 baptized We are done with WT Waiting for that Sheparding call 😡. Will let you know when that happens. We believe partially in the Bible and sometimes while we discuss in some things and read contents or do our research in some subjects we do fall in a grey area - scratching atheism. Strangely enough our marriage has grown stronger ,it,s been 6 years since I've become a agnostic atheist and Nicole my beautiful jw wife ,have learned that religion doesn't have to break up a marriage if you don't let it ,I don't want her to lose her family and friends through shunning. I,m not a 100 % sure but I think she has become a closet Agnostic and no longer sticks her fingers in her ears when I talk about why I,m not a believer, she just says ,,what ever ,,like a teenager .That's again for commenting ❤

Curious to know how you are a "practicing atheist"? Ive been an atheist also for a while now but don't feel the need to practice :) It just comes naturally to me.

😱!! Maka me wish I had listened to the advise of my study person, who encouraged me to read the whole Bible (I think in chronological order vs just front to back) . I maybe would have had doubts / disagreements over the love of (or lack of love) God himself and maybe woke up much sooner. I already had one foot out the door so to speak, just being already a 99.9999% inactive person who struggled (the entire time I was MI) to just make the meetings let alone anything else that was expected of me. This information about the Bible with how violent and murderous God is, is only recently new to me after reading comments on YT like this about the Bible, or hearing it spoken or described in a YT video. But “God” is the biggest hypocrite of everyone alive. When I bring that up to a god believing person I know personally, they say well that's Gods right bc he created us. Makes NO sense and contradicts everything they (people who say they believe in God and God can do whatever he wants) SAY we are supposed to do for God or others get still accept that “God” can do whatever he wants to us even killing babies?
