If you want to see blatant manipulation of the scriptures, pick up their Kingdom interlinear. You will see a contradiction between the Greek text and the New World Translation.
In the 1984 edition of the New World Translation, the scripture at Colossians 1:16, 17 has brackets around the word “other” all four times. The foreword says that they put brackets around any word that THEY added, to make the meaning of the verse clearer. Then, in the 2013 NWT, they removed the brackets. That is deceptive and dishonest. They did the same thing in Philippians 2:9, where it says “God gave him a name that is above every (other) name...” 1984 edition has brackets there, the brackets were removed in the 2013 edition.

Before you cite Colossians 1:15 please do a study on the word translated ‘firstborn’ (prototokos) John 1:3 All things came into being through Him (Jesus) and apart from Him (Jesus) not even one thing came into being that has come into being. John 17:5 And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed. John 1:3 is extremely clear and absolute that Jesus created everything that has ever been created. No way around that. The Bible is also clear that Jehovah God does not share His glory. Yet Jesus demands that God glorifies Him with the glory they had TOGETHER before the world existed. So God the Father, being eternal, wasn’t created. Likewise, Jesus (the Word) from John 1:1, was with God the Father in the beginning sharing the same glory. So He wasn’t created (refer back to John 1:3 as well as Colossians 1:16-17. The only logical explanation is that the Father is God and the Son is God. This is what the Bible teaches! I say this in love, but the watchtower doesn’t care about your eternal destiny. JW’s do not serve the same God that’s in the Bible. Regardless how sincere they are. That is a huge problem. I would highly encourage you and any other JW reading this to do some research and really test the teaching and doctrines the watchtower advocates with the Bible.

My JW mom speaks of 1 hope 2 destinations when speaking of the 2 classes and the earthly/heavenly hopes. This is, of course, false. But still, they can believe that but cannot see 1 God, 3 persons.

Just saying.. John 1:3 says: "Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made." The key word is "through him" not "by." Also , "the Word was "WITH" God." There is a difference and Paul explains John 1:1-3 in 1 Cor 8:6 "yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live." So this is saying that the power to create came FROM God, and the word was with God, so God passed His power to Jesus to create everything for God. God could have done it Himself but thats "the Glory God gave him before the world was." God means Authority. Jesus was an Authority with God in heaven, but Jesus wasn't the true Authority, meaning Jesus wasn't The Most High Authority/God. Jesus has his Father above him in Authority. The Father has no one above him in Authority. 1 Cor 15:27 "Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. We have Christ above us in Authority, who we all need to go through to get to the Father. We must follow Christ and his teachings to get back to the Father and gain life. My friend... I'm not a Jehovah's witness. Never Been. But I've been studied theology for more than 30 years now. And also I study different religions teachings to compare them with the bible. The ..who is the creator. Jehova or Jesus. Is a very simple task. Depending how you study that topic. For example in Colossians 1:15 You can clearly see that at the end of the verse ..it says...all have been created through him and ...FOR HIM . if everything was created for Jesus. It means..he was already created before all things were created. That's why some bible like the new translation says ...ALL OTHER THINGS. So the reader don't get confused about it. Because it clearly says ..all things were created through him but also FOR HIM ( Jesus. The word) what the bible really teach concerning to this is. ..that just like Colossians 1:15 and Apocalypse 3:14 says .. Jesus was the first thing the God almighty created. Even before the angels. And therefore...he then helped Jehovah to create all things we see and can't see . In heaven and on earth. Jesus talked about it and metaphors...where was him and what he was doing exactly at that moment when Jehovah was creating everything. .in Proverbs 8:22-30 Jesus called himself by the name" WISDOM" there ...he explained what exactly happened during the creation and why you can say ... The four letters YHWH written and read from right to left (in Hebrew), are yodh, he, waw, and he. The name may be derived from a verb that means "to be", "to exist", "to cause to become", or "to come to pass".
Hovah (הָוה) comes from the root word hawwâ (הַוָּה ) whereas Jehovah (יהוה) comes from the root word hāyâ (הָיָה) the argument has no substance, and is a logical fallacy of equivocation. That's like saying the second syllable of the Greek word for Jesus Ἰησοῦς (Ié) (sous) comes from the pagan god Zues Ζεύς since they sound the same. The argument is silly when you actually study it.
It's shameful and extremely deceitful how the JW bible adds the word "other" at Colossians 1:15,16. Initially they bracketed the word and explained it was their own addition. Then in their latest revision (2013 revised NWT) they removed the brackets and explanation. Now new readers will think the word "other" was in the original manuscripts .
@LTL307 So do you not think it shameful to be adding words to the bible? The JW org has a habit of "going beyond what is written". They admitted as much at their 2023 Annual Meeting where they said they had dogmatically gone beyond beyond what the bible says regarding reporting of field ministry hours, and also on teachings about the Great Tribulation, and who will be resurrected. They are masterful at selectively quoting things as well to deliberately misrepresent the facts. An example is in the Reasoning book where the cross is discussed. They partially quote the Imperial Bible Dictionary to support Jesus being impaled on a stake but they don't quote the part that says in Jesus' time a crossbeam wss commonly added to the stake. JW org likes to play with words and employs half truths . More great examples of that in the FAQ section on their website.
@@godtalk9645 they say on the internet that bible scholars know that the Authorized KJV was a corrupted version because it has the spurious text of 1 John 5:7 which when compared to earlier existing Greek manuscripts of the bible is missing which led scholars to believe it was an spurious addition to the text, a forgery. So today many English bibles do not have the wording as found in the KJV and New King James Version of 1 John 5:7 which was about the 3 witness bearers in heaven.

Then if you study Hebrew which consists of 22 letters, which is also 22 numbers and each letter is a picture or concept, which is unique to Hebrew, you will find that YHVH is "yod heh vav heh" and yod is the open hand, heh is to look or behold, vav is the nail, and heh is to look and behold, that HIS NAME describes Him as "Look and behold the nail in His Hand". The Jews and the Romans crucified the national God of the Jews on the cross and the sign of YHVH is "Look and behold the nail in His hand." The Jews missed it hook, line and sinker. JWs believed Yahweh created Jesus as the Archangel Michael first, then Michael was used as a conduit to create "all 'other' things". It wasn't until Michael came to earth and was born as a human that he was named Yeshua. Or the Greek says 'isus' which means Jesus. You'd be better off concentrating on Paul's isus is not the same guy as Yeshua...now that will prove Paul to be a bit of a 'one' as well. Or look into the fossil record and that creates more problems. If you say the flood deposited the animals everywhere, Where's the human and nephilim fossils? Or maybe the issue of the bible being folklore and has remnants of truth...maybe...maybe?...who knows.
Jws believe Jesus created everything (aside from himself) alongside his Father Jehovah. They say that Jesus is the only thing Jehovah made on his own. They say that's why he is the "only begotten". They consider him like a "tool " in God's hands, or the master worker of Proverbs 8. However, they also teach that Jesus is the second greatest personage in the universe, a mighty spiritual being. You could ask jws, "then why doesn't Jesus get a worthy mention at Isaiah 44:24? " Jehovah said in that verse that he created everything all by himself and no one was with him. This should stump a jw.

In fact, in some jewish beliefs, if you can pronounce this divine name correctly, you'd be granted the divine powers, and that's how the prophets were able to perform miracles. Nothing special about the name Yeshua. So if Jesus is god, why is his name so common? God is holy, meaning he is separate, clean, untouched by man, even his name is forbidden to be used in vain. The NWT teaches that an angel can be called a "true God" in the book of Genesis. In fact according to the NWT it was God the Father who address or designated an angel to be called the "true God". My question is this, does the Bible elaborate the definition of or expresses the meaning towards the title "true God".
In Genesis 35:1 New World Translation, God the Father tells Jacob to build an altar to the true God who appeared to Jacob when he was fleeing from his brother Esau. However God the Father is addressing the person as the "true God" according within NWT or as "God" without an lower case in most other Bible translations. Genesis 35:6-7 confirms that Jacob built an alter at bethel towards the God who appeared unto Jacob when fleeing from his brother. Within Genesis 35:9-12 it is confirmed that the same God appeared unto Jacob a second time, claiming to be Almighty God, collaborating with the scripture in Genesis 48:3. That God Almighty appeared unto Jacob. Main point, God the Father address another person as God or true God, regardless if he was a man or Angel. And it so happens to be God Almighty whom Jacob wrestled against.

Jehovah did create all things. John 1:3 teaches all things came into existence “dia” Jesus. “dia” is defined as “a channel one acts through”. God created. Using Jesus as his channel. “Prototokos” means “firstborn of man or beast”. It DOES NOT mean preeminence. Col 1:15-16 Jesus didn’t create himself. He created all other things. Translation is not a 1:1 word exchange. There are over 3 times as many words in the English Bible as compared to the Greek MSS. Do you think Jesus created himself? Col 1:16 Jehovah’s Witnesses are 100% correct translating Col 1:16 as “all other things”. You’re knowledge is lacking.

Look at Psalm 89:27 - Referring to king David: “I will make him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.” David was not the firstborn. David was the LAST born of Jesse; David was the eighth born. It does not mean literal birth. How is David firstborn if he was really the last born? Not ready to believe the Word of God yet? JW’s are correct that Jesus is not Yahweh and that the trinity is unscriptural. John as the other apostles as well as Jesus were certainly not trinitarians nor did they imply it ever. What JW’s are wrong about imo in my thorough study of all scripture is that Jesus pre existed his human self and that he was an angel. The Messiah had to be a human genetic descendant of David. Not a hybrid. His birth was a miraculous conception and he was by no means just a mere man as he was/is the only to have ever conquered the devil as a human and thus reflected the exact image of Yahweh his God and Father which thus being called the second Adam. Biblical unitarians like Anthony Buzzard are correct. Try debating him. You will learn a lot about linguistics and how they’ve been used to greatly corrupt modern translation of the bible. The reason we know Paul was referring to Jesus as the firstborn in the temporal and order sense is because of the Greek syntax. *Every single time* when the Greek word firstborn-πρωτότοκος is followed by a genitive "The firstborn of Ishmael" -Gen 25:13, "His glory is like the firstling of his bullock" Deu 33:17, "for he was the firstborn of Joseph" Joshua 17:1 , etc If you can find "firstborn of" followed by a genitive as it shows in Colossians 1:15 means "preeminence" I would like to take a look at it. You mentioned consistency in your video. In the bible, it's consistent "firstborn of" means existing or being born first, so the conclusion the JWs are correct contextually and grammatically Jesus is the literal firstborn of call creation.

If you are going to use the Bible to justify your position you will 1st have to answer the following historical aspects of said Bible to get the “correct contextual and grammatical” conclusion… History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their list of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian docrtine, and then with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself? Peace!!!

All bible translations contridict each other to some degree including the latest NIV with the older version of the NIV ? Even the apostle Paul was a Pharisee a bible scholar ? Hebrew was a pictorial and a dramatic language ? Jesus never spoke with out the use of a illustration or parable story ? Although under inspiration Paul wrote many books of the bible in Koine or common Greek ? Old English was a inferior form of the Fresian language ? But the Old King James , underwent many upgrades over the centuries as the English language was changing even in the 21st century ? ? Their is some loss in translation but true teachings don't change ? ?
The King James Version is as worthless as the New World translation for precision. Look to the original Hebrew text and Koine Greek text, published in the Emphatic Diaglot for original texts.

This foolish creator argument you’re making excludes the father. Col 1:15 preeminent or firstborn, Jesus is ‘of creation’ The objection to ‘other’ is a nonsense. Jesus obviously didn’t create himself or his father. The interlinear point just demonstrates ignorance of translation. There are 30% more English words than original Greek words in all English translations. Why did they insert the extra words?
You misunderstand. The premise of the argument you’re making excludes the father from being the creator. If Jesus created all things, what did the father create?
