I was listening to some videos, but had this window minimized. When I heard this anointed young lady, I had to maximize the window cause I was wondering who in the world was touching my sanctified soul with these hymns that I got saved on waaaayyy back in 1979....Good God from glory!!!!

People don't understand these hymns is what got our mamas, big mamas, through. These new age want a chord struck or cymbal struck in order to feel the presence of the Lord. I am here to tell you baby go through something FOR REAL! Lose a child, lose your mind, be faced with a gun pointed in your face. Be hungry, face eviction or foreclosure, have your family turn their back on you when you desperately need them! Hmmph you won't need a piano, cymbal or organ just thinking about what God has brought you out of alone will make you leap, jump, clap wave and run for Christ!!!!

Venice Mitchell I'm young, but being a musician, i can appreciate that ole school kind of sangin, OK! I don't mind taking it back! I love the new school no doubt, But this right here, this, i can remember my family that's still here, and the ones who went on home to be with the lord, that's what I'll always remember them by. My grandma, and my grandad (bless his soul) were who gave me that appreciation. Thank god that granny still here. In her 70's, and still doing God's work.

Now I couldn't have been there without running and Thanking God cause nobody did do what he did for me!! He healed my body from Cancer's more than one time he caused my breath to wake my daughter from the dead!!!! I can go on and on but I know without a shadow of a dought it was nobody nobody but him ... I need to stop right hear but is it anybody that can say it wasn't my mom's my Daddy my sister nor my brother!! Nobody nobody nobody but the blood of the lamb Mary's baby boy the one that said let it be light and there it was light he told the Stars to twinkle when it's night time. She is a young gift for the young and the old.It doesn't seem like it,but she's not a new artist at her young age,God has anointed this young lady.She is about my daughter's age and has so much maturity.
Some of these comments. This young lady was brought up in the Lord you better believe she heard big mamma grandmom and her mother sing these songs. She full of the Holy ghost. Anointed for this generation but she knew where she was at. God used her the way he needed too.
She tore that Hymn to shreds now she sings like she knows Jesus I want to fellowship with her in person. I hope she comes to my church i'm certain all she has to do is sing for the Lord and people from my neighborhood will start walking into the church. Front Line workers of the soul right up there. This world is so traumatized with no time to be shocked because of all the work ahead of us. Music is the great healer and it's God's best PR trick. She's the most amazing messenger I've ever seen in my life. She makes me want to go back to church.
I love this version of the Hymn because you can tell she knows Jesus. She had such enthusiasm that even when i feel down it never fails to perk me up. I know it's a gift from God to be able to freely worship him. She is on fire for Jesus and I love the Lord and Glory to His Holy name for He is worthy to be praised at all times. #Nobody Like Jesus.
we need more of those songs. i call them wash board songs the kind of songs that help you to cry out and get free. i thank God for all gospel singers but ain't nothing like old school hymns. I remember songs like that at Church of God of Christ where i grew up. Good church on them wood floors.
It's amazing to see people have to be pumped to praise aloud a God who literally woke them up, and safety covered them on their way to the sanctuary. Like, if you don't feel that you have anything else to praise out loud for, that's quite enough right there. I wonder why people don't just stay home. What do they think we're there for? We're there to minster to God too. Not just to take, take, take.

I would love to be in a church where you all have singing like that. I am in New Zealand. I am white but after I got my first dose of this kind of music last night on You Tube, I said to the Lord, "I could swear I'm black!" I don't go to any church, I live way out on a farm. Nearest church is beyond dead.
