Lovely Nige. I'm so glad you decided to video the build. It's impressive. That said, I'm even more glad that you'll get another dog. Of course, that dog won't be quite like Jess, but it'll bring its own unique character into your life. I love dogs, I have three, they make me get up in the mornings. 😊
Not long seen the video for this, was going to comment but was busy with work. Glad to see you are going to build it, I was hoping you were as it would be a joy to watch. Enjoy the build ad I shall watch it tomorrow on my break❤
Very good idea these, wonderful tribute to our wonderful pets. Mine are still pretty young yet so hopeful it will be a while before I need to honour my Zulu and Zindhzi (if they do a Rhodesian Ridgeback kit by then). These lego kits really do help move on I think. I bought my dad a MAN truck kit for xmas but sadly he never got to open it. My mum and sister did and asked me to build it for him. It defiantly helped over the rest of the festive season and New Year.
Aww lovely wee reminder of your faithful Jess. Although I thankfully still have my ginger tabby, I will probably get one of those to build. Thanks for bringing these models to our attention, I for one would never have known of their existence.
Hi Nigel, She looks great. That inspired me to do something like that for my old friend Leo and his grave in our backyard, perhaps not exactly that but something. 👋🏻
What a nice build of a dog model. Nice that there is such a thing. Something i have been toying with doing myself to memorialize my beloved dog Buddy was to get someone to make a life size head mount to hang from the wall made from polymer clay or epoxy sculpt clay. This would give me a nice place to hang his dog collar from. Just an idea if you have anyone in your area that could do such a thing Nigel.
Impressive, Im a LEGO fan, however having seen this video Im going to have a look at what Jekca has to offer. I has a quick browse and saw that they do extra bags of pieces, which means you should be able to buy extra bags of blocks in several colours so you can more accurately match Jess colour pattern, even add a collar to her.
Wonderful! A very cute model of your girl! This is definitely not a slap-it-together-in-ten-minutes LEGO. I'm a bit surprised at the engineering and this is NOT for someone without patience. Only dog lovers and modelers need apply. Quite a nice coincidence you're BOTH!
Duh, a fusion between Lego and Meccano, some of my favorite play when was a kid. Nowdays with my big hand i doubt i could have te patience to manage so many screws.
