INGREDIENTS:
SUGAR - 1/4 CUP
OIL - 1/4 CUP
CONDENSED MILK - 1/2 CUP (SUBSTITUTE 2 EGGS OR 1/2 CUP CURD)
FLOUR - 1 CUP
BAKING POWDER - 1 TSP
BAKING SODA - 1/2 TSP
MILK - 1/2 CUP
WHIPPING CREAM - 1/2 CUP
STRAWBERRY JELLY DESSERT - 1 PACK (85 GM)
BOILING HOT WATER - 2 CUP
STRAWBERRY SLICES
NOTE : 1 CUP = 250 ML

I made this and it turned out to be delicious! After reading the comments i did actually chill the mouse for 3 hours before adding the final layer of jello and it came out perfect. I poured a bit of the mouse on 2 separate small bowls and went and tested how long before it’s safe to add the last layer of jello. After 30 mins, the mouse mixed with the jello. After 1 hr and a half, the mouse was firmer, but once i poured the cooled jello, some parts of the top layer would still float, i was able to skim them off but it wasnt good enough. And then after the 3 hr mark, that’s when it was perfect eventhough i added more jello than they did here. I would suggest making this dessert the day before to allow it enough time to set.

@@lesleyjaneco-acob2282 i’m not sure about the cake, i only used the mouse and jello and a different cake recipe. But the mouse isnt too sweet, its actually on the mild side in my opinion.

If you want to take out the jello as a full form from a deep dish/bowl then it might break apart. You can also just cut the jello in your favorite shape and then take it put from your dish/bowl. To take out the whole jello chunk without breaking it or such, you can put it in a dish that is not deep and keep the jello a little bit thick. That should work.

I’m not sure what happened but I converted baking to Fahrenheit (355 degrees) After 20 minutes cake was dark brown and burnt.. I’ll try agin!

If you are a strict vegetarian, check the ingredients in the Jello Mix. Most Jellos have Gelatin in them! Gelatin is made from animal bones! Vegan Jello maybe available made from Agar, plant based substance!!!
