I listened to this song yesterday on my way to work yesterday. A I listened to this song I began to cry and for the first time in a long time I talked to God. I asked him to please keep loving me and not give up on me and I told him how tired I am. It got to me in a way that no sermon can. Thank you.

. I stumbled across your "save me" song about a year ago. The authenticity of your music draws people in. You are so transparent about life to which we can all relate. Then I just came across this. I don't know your story but I do know we all need saving. It also seems somewhere along life’s way you learned about Jesus. Rich, Poor, Black, Brown, White, Educated or Not...we are all broken people. But in our brokenness Jesus has a plan for our lives..... He had it before we were even born. I pray you keep seeking HIs will for your life and keep being authentic. Our mess becomes His miracle. And to others our mess can become our ministry, because it’s only after you have walked the path others are on that you can relate to their struggles.

God is on the mountains of our problems and he’s in the valley working on my behalf before I even ask. It was evident when my late husband was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma (brain cancer). There is no chemo nor radiation that shows any signs of treating this type cancer. He was given two years to get his affairs in order. The first surgery the tumor was removed and left him without his speech. Therapy helps but is a long long road. Time he didn’t have before the tumor grew back. Six months later surgery again. Again six months later there it was. That surgery left him paralyzed on his right side. Physical therapy didn’t help get the feeling back or the use of his arm or leg. He came home to hospice care bedridden and wheelchair bound. Five weeks later he died. Thirty nine years of marriage gone. But my love is forever for that man. Three sons carry his legacy and the six grandchildren that I pour my life into. If I didn’t have them I would be crazy with grief. God never left my side. Anything I’ve needed was provided. I just wish my sons had more time for me. God make them see how much I need them!

I'm just about to break down in a good way over this song for 2 reasons. #1 I've always called the woods, lake/pond or a red dirt road my church. #2 back when my daughter was 9 or 10 we were driving the back dirt road to my parents. Now this is a hot Oklahoma summer day like 98 99 that day. So we had the windows down jamming some Colt Ford. When my daughter looks at me and says "dad you know these are the good ol days I always want to remember. That was 1 of the last times we got to do that before the motor blew up😢
