I love the song! Jelly Roll is Amazing and he has picked himself up from all the way down and I respect him for that. I love how he is himself and don't mind saying so. Many of us have been in the same place as Jelly Roll or I know I have and I thank God for getting me where I am today. I have never been in prison but my brother and nephew have been in longer than they have been out. They both are still in!! 😢 Congratulations Jelly Roll I was on drugs as well anything I could get my hands on in the early 80s. My brother died and I lost part of myself that day I know that didn't make it right but it made me feel better. Thank God for bringing me through it in Jesus Christ Name 🙏🙌🙏🙌♥️♥️♥️

I couldn't get sober in a church pew. I found sobriety in AA and found out I'm not a worthless sinner . I'm an alcoholic. God bless those Who do. But I couldn't. People need to understand the path to sobriety isn't about a lack of morals. For most people it's a mental condition called alcoholism. Moralizing the problem doesn't save our lives.
