The last 2.5 years of my life have been horrible. My husband was put in prison for a crime he didn't commit. He got cancer. My dad got cancer and died 2 months ago from septic shock. I'm a single mom who's struggling to find a job to keep a roof over my kids head. My dad loved jellys music and it's like he sent me this song. He was a lot like jelly. Knew he was a sinner but knew God well. I never cried over the loss of my dad, I had to be the strong one. But I had this song on repeat and bawled each time.

My 82 yr old mom was diagnosed with Colon cancer on Tuesday morning and I'm pretending I'm ok but I'm not. This song just helped me break my soul and let go and cry. It's hard to be strong but I'm not ok but everything will eventually be alright 😢❤. Thank You Jelly Roll

I work 10 hour days do all the shopping, laundry cleaning and cook dinner every night for our 2 daughters, 10 and 15. We have been together since we were 16 years old through 12 years of military service and now I am losing my best friend and have no one to talk to I have to be strong for her, her mom, and my two little girls. I feel like I can't breathe most of the day. This song hit hard

My husband has been on in home hospice care since August of 2023. Doing everything for two people. And now with his health getting worse and we are preparing to make his final arrangements, I’m not OK. I so needed this.

Listening to Jelly Roll's songs is helping me deal with my baby brother's terminal cancer diagnosis. What better way to go through hard times than letting music lift your spirits. My heart is broken but I will be at my brother's side. It's always the question " why me" and the answer is "why not you".

I hope that the younger generation will look at Jelly and use his life experiences to open their eyes and get on the right path. So many kids look up to the gangster culture and idolize rappers that glorify the street life, make prison sound like a badge of honor and dealing drugs out to be a good career choice. If he reaches even one youngster and changes the direction of their life, he has succeeded. 6-7 years ago I had a mental break, and lost myself for 3 weeks. I was suffering with undiagnosed PTSD, depression and newly emerging anxiety. Turns out I also had, at that point an undiscovered brain condition affecting my cerabellum. I told myself I was okay until I was losing hours of memory without knowing. Today I am doing much better with my Wife and Son as a support system and regular "music therapy" to help manage the hectic times.
