Bro your wife is feeling some type of way. Hug that girl bro. I just buried my momma not even a month ago and this song hits home hard. We buried my pops in 2019 then found out momma had stage 4 lung cancer a month later and now she's gone too. Love y'all. Keep working it

I feel your heartache Mike! Life has been throwing stuff at me for the last 4 years it seems. Well it actually started 7 years ago when my grandmother (my heart) passed away. My grandfather past away March of 2020. My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer and surgically cured October 2019, had a quadruple bypass September 2020, and now was recently diagnosed with lung cancer again in the opposite lung and this time the prognosis isn’t the greatest. Add to that an accident that messed my back up and getting out of a bad relationship. The struggle is real and I don’t know what I would do without music. Much love and healing to you 🥰

Damn brother I'm srry for ur loss. We have quite a few in common. I lost my mama in 2014 to stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Then three years later I had to say goodbye to my pop. It's tough. Praying for ya man

Great reaction, I found out about Jelly Roll about a year ago and I'm very impressed with his talent as a rapper and vocalist. I'm 51 years old and grew up on classic rock and blues and never thought I would ever listen to rap. I think Jelly Roll is as real as it gets with his music and I appreciate that. His song "Echoes" begins with him saying "this rap shit is easy, just tell the truth". Asia - I'm sorry for the loss of your mother.

I have heard Jelly say that he makes music for the broken. He definitely doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff. He puts it all out there, in hopes that he will help someone through his music. I love seeing him in interviews.

This is why it's called Therapeutic Music. I love Jelly Roll. Struggle also very relatable. My fav. is Smokin Section but Fall In The Fall is a great one also. If These Tears Could Talk is awesome it features his daughter Bailey on it. His story and music is therapeutic for so many.

I saw jelly Roll in vegas last weekend. Let me tell you that man put on a concert. A free concert at that!!! I bought my merchandise to support. He brought out a crowd of at leat 20k. He had Freemont street jam packed. He brought out his beautiful wife who hyped up the crowed. Then brought out his 24 year old daughter, who he wrote a song with. Do you know when it came time for her solo part. He stepped to the back of the stage. Let baby girl have the lime light and her moment. As a parent that's everything!!! Then what killed it was there was a 12 year old. He shouldn't even of been signing the song. It was way before his time. He had a sign saying... it's my 12 bday all I wanna do is meet Jelly roll . Do you know He stopped mod song . Bright him on stage had him finish singing the song with him. Then had the crowd sing Happy Birthday to him. Honestly yes real. Can't do nothing but respect him , his grind ,and Hustle.

There's a few good Names to name but of all that's putting on for this new Dirty South Era Vol.2. that deserves not only recognition but a standing applause and nothing less than everything would be Jelly. He's been in and out of jail,prison multiple times battled with drinking,pills,etc. Issues with his kids and significant other plus whatever comes with the fame. His parents getting sick,passing away. Which is why his music speaks to so many people on many different levels!

I've been listening to Jelly since early 2000's. The very first line of this song when he says "the band plays on"... is actually one of his songs he's giving a shout out to. "The band Plays On" I would definitely, definitely recommend 👌 👍 100%. I love his music, he always speaks to me and in a different way every time.

Jelly Role is an underground artist. He will not conform to the executives demands to be picked up by a ton of labels!! He refuses to censor his lyrics. Every thing he's got, he's got since he got out of prison approx 20yrs ago. He's biggest cheerleader is his wife and his daughter from a previous girl friend.

Asia and jelly colab!!! My mom smacked me upside the head if I tried to pass judgement on anyone without thinking of my mistakes first. She also told me that you never know what the other person is going through and as long as they weren't harming others, then don't judge them til you know what's going on. My family is very close to me and we've always had a judgement free household. No doubt that we all think about that stuff, but we never confront til we understand.
