That's what we like about Jelly he's so raw with his pain and makes songs so many can relate to. Jelly Roll and Struggle Jennings are both great artist. I love their music.
This song completely breaks me! I know, even thru all the denials, that my son has relapsed. Listening to his words today, I just tune out the lies and look at him, my “little boy” of 34, and am screaming inside that “I don’t know what else to do or say”!! My heart is shattered!

I love Jelly Roll. I am a recovering drug addict and this man's music has touched me in many ways. I've been going through it the past couple of day's and my head has tried to tell me I know what will help get me out of that headspace but I also know if I go back to that lifestyle it will just make everything that much worse. Thank you Jelly Roll I love you brother.
He has, drugs, prison, hard life growing up, he had a daughter that was born while he was in prison, from the day he heard that, it turned his life around, he now raises her, and goes back to the prison often to talk to the inmates, he gives them hope. They tried to make him have security going on and he refused, at his concert a fight broke out and he stopped and well, go check the video😂
Every time I hear this song it gives me chills. You can hear the pain in his voice. Such a great voice. I would like for him to make more music. I would definitely listen.
I am a 55 year old woman that listens to any music that moves me. This song is like a punch in the gut that brought me to my knees. I love watching you react to different genres of music that I love. Like you say keeping good music alive. I've always said that music was the key to uniting this world. Old school, blues and anything with soul.

As I sit here drinking my 6th beer alone out back, I love jelly roll, I'm from TN,living in FL now, and wasn't expecting this from him, but it's amazing. Makes me love him as an artist even more.

He started off rapping that's how I found him back in 2006or so his growth as a musician is so crazy I've seen his whole career before he dropped an actual song jelly roll is my favorite artist of all time my dad was born in 48 me in 90 i grew up on oldies my dad and move even listen to jelly ❤️

Dude the first time I heard this song, I immediately felt the Cornell influence. Glad to hear someone else put that out there. Cornell also wrote and sung from his soul.

Love Jelly Roll ❤️ This man sings from his soul into yours. I cry whenever I hear this song. I have a beautiful 25 year old granddaughter that has a 5year Heroin Addiction we are trying to save. I'm scared to answer the phone. It might be my daughter she's saying she is gone. I'm a 68 year old grandma that wants everyone to Love them they are never a lost cause. Thank You Jamel. Jelly Roll is one of my favorite artist out and has been for the last ten years ever since i first heard him, you should definitely check out more of his music. He makes amazing music, he's actually a rapper that also happens to sing very well, you should check out Glitter, Same Asshole, Enemy, Ridin' all alone, Hard life, Can't go Home, sell your soul... everything he puts out is fire he makes therapeutic music
He is honest up front about how he feels. People say be positive, but life is not a bowl of cherries for everyone. Some people just don't develop a good self esteem because their life was harsh we just don't know. Nobody is perfect.
