ooooh can't wait to try this one! I plan to make a red, pink quilt. I have so many lovely small print fabrics in reds and pinks. I will try using one print per star block, Thanks so much for your wonderful instructions!

I absolutely love this block and quilt! I love the whole classic and vintage series. I made the log cabin one using the same fabric you used and gifted to a friend. She loved it.

So gorgeous. I love the use of red and white only. The way the blocks go together to create the larger pattern is spectacular!

Oh I luv that quilt. Thank you for a great tutorial. I also liked the way u cut those strips starting with 5" then cutting 2.5" after that. Great idea. I'm going to start doing it that way now

I hadn’t thought of cutting a 5” and then the smaller ones. Also, thank you for the tip about pinning 1/4” away to get the great points.

I love this pattern but wanted to know if you can use multi solids or is this vintage block made with just two colors? I love the pattern and dont want to take away from vintage feel of it.

If you want less stretch would it be better to set the seam with a dry iron?
@FatQuarterShopTX
@FatQuarterShopTX 5 лет назад
HI Patricia! Setting the seam with steam allows it to lay flatter for better overall result. By the time you star sewing with that unit, it will most likely be completely dry. Hope this helps!

Where can I purchase the 1/4 inch foot that is on your juki machine in this video?? Beautiful quilt!
@FatQuarterShopTX
@FatQuarterShopTX 5 лет назад
Hi Cheryl! Thank you! The foot is a high shank presser foot for the Juki TL-20101Q. I would check with your local quilt shop or craft store to see if they can help you locate the foot for your machine :)
