Jellybean - The Mexican (Short Version) EMI Records 1984 Uploaded on HQ Audio...This was the main theme from the famous 1965's western movie "For a Few Dollars More" , Ennio Morricone composed the soundtrack, Jenny Haan the singer from the group "Babe Ruth" that remade this song on 1972 was recruited to sing this one and what a great choice!...there were few more Disco versions on the late 70's.. but this is my favorite just after Babe Ruth's, my humble opinion...here are the lyrics...

Totally takes me back to Fun house memories. Yes I agree, Just Begun and this Mexican Jelly Bean jam; damn the best times. People would dance their asses off all night. So thankful and blessed I and my friends and family got to experience the Fun House days. Blessed times. Jelly Bean was one of the best DJ's out there.

Where was the fun house ? Meaning what part of NY? Bronx? I remember going to the winter music conference around 99 and all the best mostly house djs were in Miami and having big events and parties each night. I went to one early to hear jellybean dj and maybe we got there early, but there was only a few ppl. there and only stayed for 20 mins. and looked for another party. I kinda felt bad bc most of the ppl. going to the conference didn’t know Jellybean was on me of the first to start this djing culture.

The only line I remembered from this classic was, Chico Fernandez sleeping on his gun.. I'm a child of the 80s and break dancing was our thing. I searched for it from time to time over the years.... I found it today in September 2021.

This track is a brilliant example of how to do a remake properly. Update the technology, throw in a few new stylistic elements and arrangements, but otherwise stay remarkably faithful to the original. I think both this and the original versions are awesome.

This is to those who grew up in New York City in the 80's We've all had great times at the big night clubs we reserved those outing for special times. But the 80's wouldn't be the 80's without the local friendly Night Clubs e.g. The famous Herpes Triangle LOL (Riddlers for 1), The Devil's Nest (Treamont & Webster Ave), Pepper N Salt (University & 167th St) and what really made the 80's the best was our Infamous HOUSE PARTIES!!!!

I almost became a DJ in the 80s, because of Jellybean and many other great club musicians of that time. I spent hours on Friday and Saturday night hearing these tracks with effects, echoes, and delays. Great moments!
