If you were to tell me the creator of Chowder got the green light to take the entire catalog of Hanna Barbara Legacy characters and just unleash his full power in making a show about wacky antics and shennaghains with them........ I would finally find happiness in the world again with this wonderous gift.
I love how the dinosaur character openly has to state who he is and what he's from because even the most hardcore H-B fan would've had problems trying to place him. As in none of the other obscure Easter Eggs or cameos needed to bother mentioning where they're from. Not even the split second shot of Quack-Up from Yogi's Galaxy Goof Ups. The writers had to remind the general public that Valley of the Dinosaurs existed.
My favorites: “That’s the nicest most amazing thing anyone’s ever done for me!” *”I gave you a kidney -“* *im being sued for mal practice-* “What about the grass?” “Were gonna have to cut that too. *”NOOOO-“*
More like they ruined Hanna-Barbera! Adult Swim did a better job making the lesser known Hanna-Barbera characters cool than this crap. Hanna-Barbera characters were always cool.
When you think about it Jellystone is kind of a reverse Looney Tunes Show. Where in The Looney Tunes Show the characters are reworked into significantly less wacky variants to fit in a more mundane setting while still trying to capture the essence of the characters or rework them in a way that feels right Jellystone reworks the Hannah Barbara characters into more wacky variants to fit in a more animated and wacky setting.
Not gonna lie, but I thought this show was going to get hate because Cartoon Network is not the best at making remakes, then I realize I was wrong and people love this show
@@edmilmaldonado5756 It's kinda hard to call it a reboot, since it's a completely different show that just takes multiple existing characters. It's great, but not the best example to use.
I'm so thankful that this show wasn't a casualty in the HBO Max cartoon purge. And since there's no word from WB themselves nor C.H. Greenblatt about the show being cancelled, maybe that gives us a slight glimmer of hope.
1:16 He can't comprehend the idea of moving in a way that doesn't include his kid. That is wholesome as fuk. Now the kid needs some space to not grow overly dependent on dad. But still awesome dad.
I just find it strange some of the voices are impressions of how the character originally sounded while others aren’t attempting to replicate them at all
@@baymax7472Yep,It is! Not really my kind of show, but I hope you have fun! I've heard that they are getting a Season 3,so you'll have Jellystone for a long time!
