First aired July 5th 1986. From "Starbright (1): Falling Star". A much better quality copy than I originally uploaded, however it does contain some flame sound effects.
Great to see you back in action mate! I once asked Anne Bryant on the Jem Yahoo Group about this song, because it always struck me as being a Misfits number rather than the Holograms. Just have Pizzazz gloating that everyone is jealous of her and I don't think you'd need to change a word. She replied to me like this; "I too always felt that Jealousy could have gone the other way [my partner wrote it] and we argued about that one a bit. The story had it, I think, that JEM was developing some chutzpa about then, [PMS, I guess], so she was acting out some for that one. I think it worked, but I don't like the high notes, which Ford wanted so high that I thought it made the song too strident. But hey, they liked it, so I guess it wasn't a problem for anyone but me -- and perhaps, you. Very astute observation, Stranger UK." I GLOWED over that last comment as you might imagine! :D
Awesome quality!! Even the sound effects are friendly for the fans...! I wish listening to a similar quality for "She's got the power" Thanx a lot for this.
Can we call the cops on Rio and have him charged for assault, causing a public nuisance , sue him for injury and have him removed from set for being a financial liability as he is holding up production ergo, costing money?
@@andredrw289 when you write a song about your boyfriend being jealous just to rub it in about how awful it is kinda? but the context of the show makes it ENTIRELY different as shes being cheated on constantly as jerrica with jem because rio doesint like how boring jerrica is or how crazy jems life is as a singer especially with essentially murder plots from the misfits mixed in ( like when they set off explosives on a movie set while kimber was on it disregarding all safety procedures to ensure kimber would most likely get extremely injured and never play music again if not die along with potentially deafening the operater that was working with the explosives mechanics station ) to which both jem and jerrica just need to dump him and finally end that plot line thats gone on since the stone age as they both know hes a cheated and doesint care about either of them
@@purpledragonstudios5174 I mean he seemed to be jealous that she’s even in the prescience of another man who has interest in her. I’m not saying what she’s doing is right but at the same time, he’s one to talk considering how he’s handled the Jerrica/Jem triangle.
Well, coming from a "perfectionist" (we fans are so blessed you are) this is another step in the struggle, proving everyone that WE KNOW WHAT HAS TO BE DONE. With the avalanche of rants on "the other stuff" lately it is satisfying to show them WHAT THEY'RE MISSING. Gracias, "Mit"!
Awesome uplaod. I have no idea how you get the amazing audio and video qulity that you do but I must say a huge "THANK YOU" as I am exceedingly greatful!
Have to begin letting some evidence of Jerrica's (52nd?) birthday (estimated by the cartoon and the fact Britta Phillips' (the singer in "this little ditty" IRL) 52nd is on 11 June or on 10 days) TODAY 1 June 2015. I KNOW true fans want to "give her an applause" and appreciate what this character has done for us all... (particularly after what we've been through lately)
Like how they use the "it's just for the movie" excuse, to give Jem a chance to act like she has a reason to be spiteful and condescending to Rio, when all the while, she's the one who needs to be set strait. This show, man....If I had a daughter, I wouldn't let her NEAR this fem-bot programming. Take for instance, how it teaches girls, that if they wanna go off with a bad-boy for some fun, just start a fight with your boyfriend - be a real bitch to him, until he tells you get lost, and them go have fun with the bad-boy, and you can always make it seem later on, that it was all the boyfriend's fault, and he'll come begging you to take him back, if only out of jealousy, and everything will just be fine. Sick.
Maybe you should teach your daughter that a person you’ve known for at least a decade should be one of the people you trust with a major secret like an alias.
