I still can't believe they never put out an episode with Jem revealing to Rio that she's really Jerrica. Seriously then in Glitter and Gold Jerrica gets all jealous of herself cause her man is cheating on her with her.
Remember, Jerrica had Synergy run a hologram scenario of her telling Rio the truth in 'Glitter and Gold' and he reacted badly. He had deep issues with secrecy, jealousy and lying that the show never really explained.

And Synergy’s advice to jerrica in Midsummer Night's Madness, no matter what disguise Rio always fell for her. That’s a great message to tell child about love. (Sarcasm Alert) Now every time someone in their life cheats on them or someone the love all they have to say is “All I saw was you. We even though you look nothing alike physically.”
As a 40 year old, I can’t describe how much I love Gem!! My Dad use to go out of his way to make sure he recorded all the episodes and song onto cassette and vhs when I was a child.

@@tipsycash7483 you’re wrong. The ‘Jem is Truly Outrageous’ theme was created first. Britta auditioned for the singing voice of Jem with that theme. This song came a few episodes into the show, and was indeed adapted from the theme. The ‘Jem Girls’ theme was created and added to the show a lot later.

In the Rhino DVD set, the ‘Jem Girls’ theme was added onto the beginning of random episodes in season one such as episode one, but it didn’t appear in the original broadcast until the second season. Maybe, that’s why you’re confused. The original theme is literally the ‘Jem is Truly Outrageous’ theme.
It’s because those shows were still running on the early morning, mid-day, and late night television for the next 7 years after we were born 😭 Johnny Quest, the o.g Transformers, Hong Kong Phooey, The Banana Splits, and all. Wish that the newer shows shows evolved with flavor. But now all the shows suck. I wish that the 60’s-90’s shows were still being aired sometime during the day👎 I agree with all the adults trashing everything we do. They truly had it better. We watched the same stuff they did and can easily tell which is better😔

I loved the alternate version of the opening song. And for a 1980s cartoon, they knew how to dress Jem. I love that purple dress at 0:11. It really suits her despite her cotton candy hair!
Nah... seriously, no modern movie could capture the genuine cheesy ambiance of original JEM. It was a lightning in a bottle, it wouldn't be as gorgeous and over the top.

TMF has the best video and audio quality, CC1 loves to extend his videos (up to 7+ minutes in one case) and has his "albums" and there's the Hispanic guys (TJP and DvdF) that "make do" from what they got and love to experiment a lot. There are also 2 Brazilian (JuMo and JeBs) guys that have to fight with the bad audio/video copies available from the SBT network source. So each one can be praised and are an integral part of the POP PEOPLE community, making what the copyright owners aren't achieving and "setting the standard" for JatH's future...
