I love Jen Atkin. She works hard, she's great at what she does, she's always learning, and she's empowered. She's hustling in this video to share what she knows. I don't think she's rude or snobby. I think she's confident. Not all messy buns are created equal and it takes skill to make a messy bun red-carpet worthy.

Fam this is a red carpet method, not just an everyday casual messy bun. Jen HAS to put in all those extra steps to make sure that bun doesn’t move anywhere all night. And for anyone with a ton of hair, this is the only way to keep it secure.

I don't get why people are saying Jen's rude, I really enjoyed watching her & it's really obvious she has a lot of experience. She also seems normal and down to earth, I guess if people aren't super sickly sweet people think they're rude .The simplest looks are always the hardest to achieve and did you see how quickly she was working?! I rated this video & Rosie is a girl after my own heart with her sense of humour

I don't personally like Jen Atkin but I do like Rosie, she's adorkable! But every step in this tutorial makes total sense: you need two ponytails to maximize volume at the top, otherwise such heavy mane as Rosie's would pull down the roots , causing loss of volume and it would hurt afterwards. You also need to tease the hair to achieve more volume, grip and body. Bear in mind that hair and makeup for events need smaller steps and layering so that they by all means last.

It takes that long to explain it, it really only takes like 2 to 3 minutes. I have such thick hair that a messy bun doesn't really work if I just throw my hair up and tie it down. This is really the only method that works for my hair lol

Update: I tried this style today. Mind you, I have absolutely zero skill with hair styling and have never been able to make a cute bun like this before. Anyway, I tried these techniques and they worked for me! My hair looked great and stayed in place all day. I felt super confident. Thank you for this tutorial.

You obviously haven't seen it, so you have no idea what you're even talking about. Product reviews are just product reviews. Not everyone is going to like all of your products, and your responsibility as a brand owner is to understand that not everyone is going to be a fan of your stuff, and it's simply not going to work for everyone. That's why PR exists. You just don't lash out at your paying customers for being disappointed in something; more importantly, you cannot lose your shit over someone's honest and fair review of Kim K's perfume (@Gelcream on instagram). Jen just commented a thousand things in all caps, throwing insults at everyone. She's obviously a basket case. If she's going to be like that, best not to be able to leave comments at all. So maybe get the facts straight before defending a behavior you haven't even witnessed.

People go bananas for those Ouia products so I splurged on the wave spray. The smell was so strong and intense that I felt like I was being stalked by an old lady who went a little crazy with the Avon perfume all day. I gave it away after one use.

the point of a messy bun is that its quick and easy. thats why its messy. genuinely messy, not fake messy. if you put a crapton of effort and product in it, its not a messy bun, its an intricate hairdo. just stating the obvious here
