The IT Crowd is a comedy set in the London offices of the fictional Reynholm Industries, the show revolves around the three staff members of its IT department: a geeky genius named Maurice Moss (Ayoade), the work-shy Roy Trenneman (O'Dowd), and Jen Barber (Parkinson), the department head/relationship manager, who knows nothing about IT. The show also focuses on the bosses of Reynholm Industries: Denholm Reynholm (Chris Morris) and later, his son Douglas (Matt Berry).
The comedy premiered on Channel 4 on 3 February 2006, and ran for four series of six episodes each. Although a fifth series was commissioned, it was never produced. The programme was concluded with a special, one-off episode, aired on 27 September 2013.

This was an IT Dept the 90's, before, everything became a health and safety hazard or offended some random person. Because people actually fixed stuff, rather than skip it The rooms would be full of equipment.

@@WolfsH0ok They are still are as messy as in IT crowd, just far less equipment because we have laptops, USBs, internet and stuff. But got to the Service Desk department of any big multinational and youll find it just as chaotic as here.

The pixels were from the early 90s. This show is from the mid-2000. The pixels are for show, maybe to symbolise or represent something about the characters.

Season 1 of this show was the best. Just like season 1 of Soap or season 1 of House MD. Was still funny later, but later seasons were just never as good. Plus if if you've worked in a small IT dept, lots of in jokes.

I recall having worked in a cold and nasty basement room for many months. It was referred to as the meatlocker, and since our boss was a yes man we suffered until space was available in the normal office area. Yes, we were part of the IT team 🤓
