I know how the girls feel. I lost my grandfather last year. He was the glue of the family. Mine was 97. No matter how long the life is you never are ready. It gives me comfort to know that my grandparents are now together. Cherish everyday because you never know.

I lost mine almost 4 years ago at the age of 94 years young .. and it still feels like yesterday.. the pain is still so raw.. especially when my grandparents raised me .. and I never left them until they left for heaven .. 😢

True. I lost my grandpa four years ago. He was 90. And my grandma (mom's side) at 108. She was really my mom's aunt, but I consider my grandma, because she raised my mom.

So moving and touching, teared up as they reflected on the beautiful memories they had with their Gampy! My dad passed away 10 years ago, he was a Bush man!! Our family holds the Bush family in high regard, I'm in my 50's and can honestly say, Presiden'ts Bush-Bush were two of my favorite presidents. Thank you for your honorable service to our country, you will never be forgotten~

I didn't agree with the man's politics or how he sold out to globalism. "The thousand points of light" deal can take a hike - It's actually occult symbolism. But I trust the man in his own way knew the Lord even though there were many things that he was deceived into believing. It's a crazy world, and I wish Bush 41 Godspeed. It's up to all of us to live out what we believe in the strength of our conviction.

I lost my grandma when I was in college, and I lost my grandfather in June and GHWB passing really has messed me up. The love and compassion people are giving reminds me so much of my cousins and I’s love for our grandfather that it’s hard to get through some of these interviews

@nene w Perhaps they did, but I meant no disrespect. It's a phrase that I use, my father used... etc. Words (in my opinion) can only mean what the desired intent of the user is. In my family, calling your father "the old man" was a joking, yet loving term of endearment. Now my adult children call me the "old man"! I apologize if you took offense to that term, but as I said, I meant no malice, or disrespect. Words are words, it's what is in your heart when using those words that counts!

😢😢 Barbara and Jenna your both 2 of the strongest girls I know I lost my "Gampy" in March and I still tear up thinking about him, he was the sweetest but also can be very blunt Irishman I've ever known 😢😢😢🍀🍀 what with Christmas coming up it is going to be tough but I'll know I'll be there for my Dad and both my aunt and uncle, and my Nan, love to you both and all the Bush family xxxx

I'm very sad for George W Bush's loss and may his parents and Jenna and Barbara's grandparents rest in peace. , But...I do feel like George Bush is blessed and lucky in that he had both of his parents in his life up until he was in his seventies and they were there all through the years of his presidency.As far as I know,since John F.Kennedy onward,George W Bush has been the only other President to have both of his parents alive by the time he became President.

I am envious of the years they had with their grandparents. I wish I could have had as many years with my parents but I came along unexpected to everyone, and while my sisters might say I was spoiled, in the end, I was the most devastated because of all of the times I wanted to spend with them. I wanted my two young boys to remember their grandparents, especially grandpa, but they were much too young. Their memories come from photos. I know that God is with the Bush family during this difficult time.

I never got to experience either of my grandfathers in my life. I watch this and I am feeling nothing but envy and sorrow cuz I feel for them. The only bad thing about having a grandfather or both is facing loss. Given what I know about them on both sides, I would have risked it wholeheartedly. May he Rest In Peace.....
