I feel so bad for her because she even said she feels insurcure about the dance and now she can’t go on one interview without getting asked about the dance.
Because nobody cares about that, honestly. It only matters how Tom Cruise prepares for roles because it’s interesting how he plans to strap himself to a plane or jump off a cliff. “Like, I really try to work on my feelings…” is boring af .

@@allmycarsisbroke yea bud. I’m off work, I’m stopping by Walmart to grab dinner or something. Or a gas station getting gas. I’m not thinking of changing. It’s not that big of a deal lol just one of those things.
@@MsQueenOfmyworld true for me I would’ve just said “the Wednesday dance had gone viral to the point where everyone knows you for it and I know you’ve been asked this questions so many times is I’ll ask what are you wearing cause it looks great on you?”
It's like when you were a kid and you did something that entertained your parent, whether it was singing a song or a dance and then your parents would ask you to do it for anybody who came over or at family gatherings. 😂
If there were a specific scene in a specific movie that were the only thing Harrison Ford got asked about for the first several months after rocketing into notoriety, then it would be like that. But you're comparing asking a breakout star about a single scene and nothing else to asking a Hollywood veteran to a single movie. There are tons of differences and very little overlap. Also, in this clip the lady who interviewed her didn't ask her ABOUT the dance, she asked her TO dance. The latter is vastly more obnoxious. Anyone would be tired about being asked about something for 40 years. Anyone would be annoyed by being asked by stranger to drop everything and perform like a minstrel. That's where the similarities end.

i feel so bad she is only being recognized for the dance edit: why is this comment getting so much hate?? 💀 i am trying to say that jenna is only being recognized for playing wednesday/the dance she made. i know that the girl interviewing her was technically doing the enid dance but she said something along the lines of “YOU was all like…” and then continued to do the enid dance. don’t you think she would be interviewing emma if she was talking about the enid dance? i dont know if your joking about this but yalls seems pretty serious. jenna is such a great actor that has played on so much but hasn’t really been recognized for it. she started to blow up after this TV show launched and everyone fell in love with the dance she made. i might not have been to clear on what i was trying to say but still you dont have to attack me on it. other people have made these comments/these types of comments and i dont see you hating on them?
@@954.isaac. lmao what? No one knows how big a show’s gonna get until it comes out. Stranger Things was supposed to be an anthology until everyone got attached to the characters and they had to rewrite to make it one continuous story. Not to mention, there are plenty of celebrities who love what they do but aren’t a fan of the attention. John Deacon of Queen literally went into hiding after Queen stopped bc he never liked being famous, he just liked making music w his friends. Maybe Jenna just likes to act but doesn’t like the attention, they are not mutually exclusive.
Jenna Ortega is an actress. She played a character named Wednesday. She did a dance in a movie. It was entertaining and can be viewed as many time for anyone who wants to see it. Interviewers should thoughtful not to keep asking her to repeat the dance from the movie over and over again. THE DANCE IS ONE AND DONE. Let Ms. Jenna Ortega, move on to her next projects.
So,they enjoyed it and Jenna doesn’t want to do it over and over again. She also doesn’t like the dance and people keep asking her to do the dance even though she hesitates.
@@AnaJulia-eu7pwwell, I mean doesnt that comes with the territory of portraying a character. I mean she took on the character of course people are going to be like remember when you did this part of the character really well. A lot of times people are not going to just leave the traits of characters outside of the shell, especially if the actor did it really well. I get it would be tiring, but that’s part of taking up the spotlight and territory. People would walk up to William Shatner all the time and portray him as Kirk outside of the show. I get it would be tiring, but someone that is fond of the character isn’t going to mind. William shatner didn’t mind.
I also love corny, cringe, cliche moments that only happen inside tv shows. They’re so authentic and relatable and displays such a wide skill set that defines that actress. That’s why I love the new American horror story, it paints Kim Kardashian as the most successful business woman… in the only place that’s believable, a fictional tv show. 💀
Jenna might be fed up, but she should be proud of herself. She created a viral dance out of nowhere with no experience in a very short notice and made it look so natural and iconic. Like it or not, this is her creation, this is her most iconic moment from her most iconic role.
Fr it’s not that deep lmao. There will be inconveniences along the way for all celebrities. It’s their job bro 💀💀💀 Just because they don’t enjoy the trend doesn’t mean they can stop appeasing the public. Think before you write.
Is she not a big enough star by this point where her agent or whoever books her for these interviews can request what topics she's comfortable discussing? Also, I read in the comments that she's insecure about the dance. She sure wasn't insecure about it when filming it over and over or accepting the check for it. I don't know why she's so upset about being asked about the thing that most people know her for. Does The Rock get mad about being asked about his 6 year wrestling career where he headlined three of the most watched WRESTLEmania main events in the history of the company? All of it while in his underwear? No, because he knows what got him where he's at. And people like me, have watched far more of his wrestling than any of his movies even though he has only wrestled 2 matches since 2002.
Then don’t be someone in the spotlight, simple as that, how are you gonna wanna become big and then act annoyed when people want to see you do what they know out from 💀💀💀💀
That dance paid her millions. I suggest she gives back the millions $ and ask her managers to make sure future interviews don’t ask questions related to the dance. Done!
As someone working in a regular job, i seriously doubt that. Normality is better than cringe and poor girl made a whole series yet only the cringe af dance is remembered. Feel sorry for her
@@rose4lyfethe dance is considered cringe? I didn't know that I've seen both dancing like that for years lol and never considered it cringe it's really a good dance but I'm old and don't understand cringe that's a different generation lol
Poor Jenna, she already said that she felt uncomfortable (insecure) talking about this subject and she can't go to an event without being asked about it :(
Press is evil. It’s like when Selena Gomez has a nervous breakdown and public panick attack multiple times during paparazzi and still gets ambushed by them
There are rumors that Disney will re-do the Snow White movie, and switch out the bitch and put Jenna Ortega in the role instead... True; still a Latina in a role that demands a pale girl, but Jenna is a good choice
That last lady reporter was so rude. She ain't there to perform for you and start dancing on command on the red carpet. Wtf was that reporter thinking.
@@deakksyy what context is there to be given. She might be cool with the reporter, but the question and it's delivery is still pretty rude and obnoxious. You don't need a whole context behind everything it's being said, especially for a straightforward interview.
@@SSss-lm2mh if jenna learned German ten what did she do to the frogs? If she was really serious then she would have been able to join the Wednesday life and join the frogs the frogs take good care of us and give us all are effort and time to make videos. Now when the frogs was getting attacked by the (evil) Germans then why wouldn't she help. If she was insecure about her dance she would not have praised the squirrels and the tramps, gosh I hate the internet, never accepting that frogs are slimy and green 😕 When the frogs were born there was 5 sons there names were Beerus nama Bella booti and lol. But far away from home there was Wednesday she killed all of the frogs and drank there sweat to become emo and took all of the evil sweat and turned into a frog she realized she didn't want to be a frog and she died and came back alive she woke up in Minecraft and saw Steve he asked to come in his house and he said"no" she slept outside for the night and asked him again the next morning and he said yes and she looked behind her and he pushed her into a coffin and shut it, the frogs came back to life and laughed at her as she was in the same position over and over again. The end, now was that really necessary to underestimate the slimy green frogs. Jeez, I hate the dark side, always creeping up all in my business. Good night sir and never judge anybody before they die, got it I've got it! You are understanding the power of frogs
Thank you for not cheesing up the character any more than the shows writers/producers were already determined to do. And thank you for refusing the agenda. I love Jenna for her backbone.
Damn that's rough.........her expression says it all lol. She had the "oh shit here this comes again" face on and that waving of her arms at the end was like "I'm so done with this damn dance!" xD It's a very.......unorthadox dance to being doing in public and honestly it would crush my soul to perform that live. She shouldn't be pressured into talking about it when she doesn't even feel that great about it. It was amazing, creative, and she owned it. It's just not something she wants to be put on display for and always asked about, she deserves to be explored for the many other great and interesting aspects of Wednesday's character too! It isn't something she would just be able to conjure on the spot because she put a lot of prep into it and doesn't even feel that confident in it.
I know but it's all that's being talked about right now, like it's too much they gotta lay off her a bit. Seems like she doesn't really enjoy all that attention over the dance.
Dance monkey dance lol at least the masses want to see her dance she acting like this so terrible go work a real job where no one gives a shit and see if you keep that frown for long, that dance feeds you, Better capitalize before even this moment passes
You can clearly see that she hates being asked about her dance because of how many people talked/mentioned it. She feels like she’s in an uncomfortable position when someone asks.
They only care about Wednesday's dance but not about Wednesday herself. 🥺 You could tell it hurts Jenna Ortega she wants to be own for her character not for the dance.
@@k8egirl101 yeah obviously I’m just saying it’s not unexpected that people are only asking about that dance because that’s what she’s best known for in the show
After working 64 hours this week, only eating canned dog food, showering at planet fitness and living in my car. I have to say I feel really bad for her.
She said shes insecure about the dance. It's normal to be embarrassed or insecure about something. She probably doesnt want to just be known because of the 'wednesday dance' she wants to be known for her acting and all the shows/movies shes been in, not a scene that shes insecure about.
@@Nutcracker543 she was PAID to do that dance when she filmed the scene, she fulfilled her obligations to that part of the script, you can't just go up her while she's not on set not getting paid and just say "dance monkey dance! Entertain me!" Jesus dude, touch grass.
She should have went into Wednesday charecter and told her”Since you asked, I will do the dance to the music of your muffled screams on the next full moon on your freshly covered grave.” Then the smile.
Poor girl......part of the magic of that dance is that really it's only a dance for Wednesday to do! It was one of a kind! No mere mortal can just pull that off lol. You can see she seizes up every time someone asks about it because she knows what's coming next.
She's already done did it, why would she keep doing it for free? The role she played, and how she pulled it off was absolutely phenomenal. She should be proud of herself.
Why do they have to ask her to do a dance? That was just one scene and that's it, it's like asking a doctor on the street for a prescription to prove that he's a doctor. 🤦🏽♂️ is unacceptable
