Scream 2 is great

Yeah Scream 1-2 is the best. Scream 3 is the weakest one. If I had to order it it would be, from best to worst, Scream 1> Scream 2> Scream 4 > Scream (2022) > Scream 6 > Scream 3. The thing that made Scream 5 and 6 worse imo, especially in 6, is that it took all the mystery, shock, and suspense out of who the main Ghostface was. I had it pegged 10 minutes into this one that Bailey was the Ghostface. Scream 5 I knew that Richie was one of the Ghostfaces right away too, because Scream 5 was supposed to be a soft reboot of the franchise, and in keeping with that, who else but the boyfriend of the new final girl would be the killer, just like Billy Loomis. Don't get me wrong, Scream 5 and 6 are amazing on first watch, and the kills are pretty brutal and gory, but the mystery aspect is almost completely gone and in the final act Scream 6 definitely takes a nosedive off a cliff in terms of pacing and story on rewatch. Shame because it was almost my favorite Scream of the bunch. Also as a final note, none of what I'm saying means any of these Scream movies are bad. They're all good and have things that I love/like about them, but Scream 1, 2, and 4 imo are the most well rounded and have far fewer downsides than the others.

Technically, Ethan is still alive but just barely. He comes back for one last scare. As he runs towards Sam & Tara, Kirby drops the T.V used to kill Stu Matcher on Ethan’s head, killing him for good.

The main reason they died despite being a team, they didn’t really work together properly, they kept separating that gave the sisters the opportunity to win, especially when Quinn foolishly attempted to kill Sam when she saw her holding a gun at her, and the other main reason they died is that they talked too much, same as Richie did when he died.

I haven’t watched the scream franchise yet (and I don’t think I will for a while either cause god it’s bloody), but I’ve seen lots of clips from scream 5 and Tara really went through a lot. Her opening scene, being attacked in the hospital and then finding out that it was your best friend all along. I feel bad for her
