And how better to express the reality of taken for granted, mistreated women who have been socially conditioned to feel validated by their partner than to show this reality. I do agree with you when you said Jenni knows her audience by showing the woman singing her songs. And the ending, in my opinion is symbolic for music saving people's lives, not Jenni as a saint. Music holds and transmits profound messages such as this song that was written by Marco Antonio Solis.

Jenny tal vez no es la mejor cantante pero en Mexico se hizo muy famosa por representar a la mujer fuerte que no necesita de un hombre. En Mexico la violencia de genero es cosa de todos los dias de ahi la necesidad de hacer catarsis con este tipo de canciones. Puede ser gracioso, ojala solo fuera un estereotipo imaginario, pero no. Son muchos los hombres que se comportan asi con sus parejas llegando a la violencia fisica y verbal, aun somos una sociedad muy machista.
El ser o no la mejor cantante es muy relativo...yo soy fan de Jenni hace como un año que estoy empezando a conocerla,y te aseguro q a mis 48 años,siendo española ,y escuchando mucha música,es de las personas que más me transmiten,porque llegan al corazón con su voz,interpretación y personalidad.
