She is absolutely right. My mom and I just happened to be growing through the channels and found it. We liked it instantly. We thought it was a movie at first.
Yes it's true, the series changed after his departure, basically the series was Brenda and Brandon trying to fit in among the richest and most popular high school students. Then the Brenda/Dylan/Kelly love triangle made the series a success. I always thought the point wasn't that Brenda ended up with Dylan or Kelly ended up with Brandon or Dylan, the point was that Brenda and Kelly both found happiness with someone in the end. from Beverly Hills, and unfortunately the writers didn't understand it.
They really ruined Brandon's image at that time, because Brandon cheated on Kelly with a girl he wasn't in love with, Jason did the right thing by leaving Beverly Hills.
After Priestley announced he was leaving, all the direction was to destroy the Brandon Walsh character. If Steve Wasserman had not died and Jessica Klein remained with show, would they have written Brandon’s exit the same way
Oh please. In all of her past interviews, Jennie Garth literally said that Dylan and Kelly were bad and she kept choosing Brandon and no matter what the question was. lmao. Not to mention how Kelly as a character perfectly made her choice and her choice was always Brandon no matter what. And in season 7, she was going to pick up Dylan from the airport and tell him that she chose Brandon over him. And she never chose herself. She literally begged Brandon to be together again after her choose me speech. lmao
@Heather Graham I love how you just wrote with no hope for Brenda Dylan fans as your response?...lmao. Way to remind me that the original show by Aaron Spelling had Dylan Kelly as endgame. And a spinoff which the creator Darren Star was never involved with neither was the original producer Rob Thomas. But 2 handpicked random people Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah wrote the Dylan Kelly split. The desperate desire for Brenda Dylan couple where you try to back a non Spelling, and non original created spin off....thanks for the laugh
@@RaymondStarkesI heard the total opposite, that it was Dylan & Brenda together in the end. That is how it was originally written… Unfortunately, Shannen left the drama of 90210 behind & they decided to put Dylan with Kelli… Which basically destroyed the shows ratings… I was shocked to recently discover the show continued on until season 10… So I tried to give it a go & I couldn’t get passed mid season 5… It was awful, terrible writing… But hey, to each their own😂
@sillylittlebirds6259 i didnt like Season 5 with Dylans written in drug addiction or the Toni love interest. The one cool thing was when he asked Valerie to help him get his sister back and they did this whole side mission in Mexico with a private investigator. Outside of that i skipped 6-8. I tried them but since Dylan was gone, writters decided to take the messy character blueprint transferred it from Dylan to Kelly. Started watching it again when Dylan returned in season 9. Unfortunately Valerie left same episode Dylan returned. Anyways i enjoyed 9 & 10
It just proves when you are young you make foolish decisions. Brandon did cheat. Dylan was best with Brenda. Kelly said it best . "I choose me." Of course poor Kelly has everything thrown at her on every level. Her mom wasn't a good role model either... Children from divorce. I can see how acting filtered into her personal life. I went back and watched the whole thing... I saw some of the show when I was young and busy. So it was good to see it a few years ago. I guess I decided to watch after Luke died. ❤
I didn’t like Kelly with Brandon or Dylan. Kelly should’ve ended up with that lawyer dude in season 10 (forgot his name lol). He had a lot of the same qualities as Brandon, and would’ve been good for her. Brandon being with a woman who slept with his sister’s ex was just too cringe and weird, and I wanted to see him with an intellectual girl like Susan. As for Dylan, he should’ve ended up with Brenda. She was the love of his life. My two cents.
matt was too perfect for kelly. she didnt love brandon either. These guys were too stables. kelly's life wasnt that stable with her mother problems. she liked babysitting and none of these dude fit the profil like dylan. she love the imperfection of dylan
For real? Kelly was a fake doing was just using for her for sex he didn't really care about her even Jennie Garth said in the end that Dylan should have ended up with Brenda so even the actress knew her character wasn't right
Il modo in cui Dylan guardava Kelly da uomo molto preso da una donna faceva emozionare sembrava davvero innamorato di lei sembrava reale bellissimo lo sguardo che aveva quando la guardava❤❤❤
If we were to catch up with Dylan he would be on wife number three he is not husband material never would be anytime someone gets on a motorcycle with their cat and drives off in the sunset is not someone that's going to be stable in a relationship
