Jennie: Lady Randolph Churchill (TV Mini Series 1974) - 7.8 Jennie Jerome was born in the United States in 1845, eventually becoming Lady Randolph Churchill and the mother of Winston Churchill.

I remember watching this series as a young red-blooded male of 17 years. I was smitten with Lee Remick . She was so beautiful and a fine actress. This was a wonderful series and filmed at a pace where dialogue could be followed and set pieces admired...👌🇬🇧🇱🇷

This epoch, when Victoria was still queen, was violent for their 99%: women and newborns died like flies; cholera, typhus, hunger, and more took their tolls. This was not « elegant graceful times, » but the very opposite.

Say what you like people,but there is no doubt that women have lost their femininity,class and elegance. The same applies to the men. Yes there was poverty,but it's the same today. Not much has changed In that sense. They certainly didn't run around like headless chickens as people seem to be doing today. People are far too stressed out now and eat like piglets in front of a TV most probably out of a carton and out of a plastic cup or directly out of a can or bottle. So much for progress eh !!!😂😂😂😂

❤️👸🏽🦁💯👑🇬🇧I love classic movies as well, I love fashion and Lavish lifestyle and wearing gorgeous fashion designers and this movie is during The Edwardian Era and Women wore Bustle Dresses and walked with Parasol and beautiful Kentucky Derby Lampshade Hats with Ostrich Feathers and Beautiful Bright Colors and much more. Also some don't know but PRINCESS DIANA was Kin to Winston Churchill so (Dianas) family definitely knew each other just like (Parker Bowles-Lyon and The (Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother) knew all of Bowles Lyon Family as well. Winston Churchill, was an Awesome Prime Minister and known The Royal Family with Queen Elizabeth ll Mom (Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother & King George) also he worked well with (Queen Elizabeth ll and he definitely knew (Queen Mary Of Teck & King George) and The Aristocrat High-Society. I loved studying him In High School. I'm enjoying this, and I'm honored to watch The Life of His Mom and Father and The Royals and Much More - It's '2024 and Winston Churchill is on The T.V Series 👑" THE CROWN"👑💯🦁👸🏽🇬🇧❤️

I first saw this as a teenager who'd just read Ralph G. Martin's exhaustive bio of Jenny Churchill and loved it! Ronald Pickup was great as poor syphilis-ridden Randolph Churchill... and Lee Remick -- divine -- with a delightful Barbara Parkins as her sister Clara, wife of Moreton Frewen ("Mortal Ruin"). Rachel Kempson! The actors who played Winston and Jack were also wonderful. Thank you so much for uploading!

This looks like it was filmed at Queen Victoria’s private beach, a walk down from Osbourne house built for Victoria by her husband Albert as retreat on the Isle of Wight, which we can now use and we have had some beautiful peaceful summer afternoons as it is now owned by English Heritage and just down the road from where I live. It is also filmed at Carrisbrooke Castle on the IOW where King Charles 1st fled to from Hampton Court Palace London, believing he was free but was held prisoner and twice tried to escape but got his head stuck in the bars of the bedroom window that you can still stand in and see this day.

In retrospect many things may be said about a person but they didn’t do what they did do even in terms of morality and people make judgments people in a time living on a person is living their life may have some foray into the depth of their lives and perhaps not as much as they think Remich Lee plays this part beautifully the series is well worth re-watching I get many things are sad about Jenny Churchill and the other ladies who came from America also one thing about the Gallo dowry several amounts have been mentioned let’s go for saying 50,000 in her timeForSecondary some this is quite an amount and it would equate in our time to approximately 250,000 so we’re talking about and it’s time it was an enormous amount of gallery thereby she was one of those princesses so to speak no matter what happens later she fulfilled her valve in terms of remaining married until the death of her husband and truly loved her children of the English point of view of parenting is different from the American point of you will note that sending a six year old child away to school is unthinkable but it’s their culture and people do things and culture that go along with it such as in some African cultures putting loops and rings around the neck to stretch it plates in the lips or everyone living in a common kind of way with many wives this African chieftains do all these things are considered to be by some barbaric are they men have always had more than one wife the culture that came to be out of scripture was understood in particular in one way and yet man had always had more than one wife in scripture even in the Times of Jesus when it says one wife it has a very specific meaning one of the things that means is ladies that are in harmony with one another and your family group is in harmony with one another although culturally we look at it different in terms of so-called sophisticated enlighten society who the man would be with one woman and yet were they

The way Lee Remick speaks here in the series is quite charming. However, if it was indeed the way people spoke in America during the period indeed is questionable. I know the upper crust of American society is trying somewhat to emulate the Brits. But here is the case that is a little bit overblown to the extent that she sounds more British than transatlantic.

Some historical facts about the Churchill clan: The daughter of the King of Wall Street (Jennie Jerome) attempted to force the future King of Britain to marry her by fucking him and becoming pregnant. (thus becoming the queen of all American dollar princesses… AND the royal escort to the future King of the British Empire.) Her attempt at upward mobility failed. She became pregnant but Bertie fobbed her off on Randolph Churchill since he would fuck anyone and had multiple mistresses on the side anyways. The arranged marriage was haggled over by lawyers until the usual sum of 2 ½ million American dollars was deposited in the Churchill dynasty bank accounts… The Churchill clan refused to attend the wedding since she was already pregnant with the Prince of Wales diseased progeny. Winston’s escape form a Boer prison was the result of bribery where he was the only prisoner allowed to walk out of that prison while the guards pretended not to see leave. His own account of how he escaped and most of his writings and reports are complete fiction… as is the rest of what the masses (you) know about his life. He was one of the highest paid journalists in Britain during the Boer war for no reason other than his actual lineage: not his apparent one.. As a student he was last in all his classes in school: a bonafide retarded imbecile. Right after he his 1st term in parliament after losing all other attempts to be elected he went on a global trip around the world as a speech giver making thousands of dollars and pounds made him filthy rich. A bloodthirsty warmonger during WW1… he was habded the role of first Admiral of the British navy without any credentials. On a gold plate, as it were... Again, because of his actual lineage not his apparent one… that is, not because of his apparent parents, (pardon the pun). Deliberate plan to starve the German nation of hunger during WW1 he was responsible for personally 750,000 women and children died because of his “hunger blockade”. As Exchequer he returned the British currency back to gold: crashing the entire economy. One victim killed himself in front of Churchill’s treasury office. During the coal strike Churchill wanted to machine gun the strikers. He was prevented from doing it. After Randolph Churchill dies she married a man 1 year younger than Winston… After divorcing him she married a man who was 4 years younger than Churchill. He was abusive towards women… Churchill was a well known homosexual and a women hater. This reveals the fact that she had molested her own son; which explains his misogyny. On two separate instances: two Jews: Bernard Baruch and Straykach bailed him out just to keep him from bankruptcy: From then on, Jewish millionaire bankers controlled him and owned him.. The depths of his depravity, his crimes against Humanity his sins, etc; are endless so I shall stop here.
@margarettaft2944
@margarettaft2944 Год назад
Jennie Jerome could not have possibly hoped to marry Bertie the future king of England. As Bertie married his wife when Jennie was about 8 years old. Bertie had younger brothers. She could have had a relationship with one of the younger princes. She could have had a relationship with the married Bertie. But she had no hope of marrying Bertie because he was already married. You didn’t mention Churchill was a gambling addict and constantly lost money.
