The British part probably comes from going to quite a posh school in New Zealand. They tend to teach British English in those schools so some of her pronunciation etc will sound a bit British.

i think the interviewer did a great job making her feel comfortable and her questions were well formulated ive seen a lot of interviewers do degrading question or just plain idiotic ones but i glad she made our Jennie feel good she even told her rest before coming back with her members i cryyyy

although she's a wonderful person, no doubt, sometimes people will dislike a member due to their stage performances, i hope they're fully aware that she is a busy person but so are the other members and to see her more recent performances and see her the one who's being more "lazy" isn't a good thing when people pick out biases, there also might be some other things of her, like her fans, who can cause dislike among other people
People just judge what they see, no one is saying she's a bad person, it's only that she seems more energetic when she performs 'solo' than when she performs with the girls.

@@peachyflavor6258 she only lived in new zealand for 5 years around 10 years ago (I'm too lazy to search so idk , but it's around 10 years lol) and she curently lives in korea, sings in korean and does interviews in korean, I don't think I've seen them do interviews in english ever

its like a bit of an on and off oceanic accent? you can hear that australian/newzealand-like accent but she does indeed say a lot of words with a more american-like accent

Koreans should learn to view her not as an Idol but as a powerful and smart woman who works still very hard to entertain them. I have read some criticism but the world is much bigger than many such opinions. It is amazing, but seems this is actually a success. It's about growth and challenge. A "role" can be something that is too narrow.

Solo was the song that made me a blink, I heard it and loved it so much. so I understood that Jennie was a member of Blackpink. I started listening to them and got to know more about them, now I am a blink for almost a year now.
