JENNIE OF BLACKPINK - You & Me Dance Performance (REACTION)

Here is a little information about Jennie: Jennie Ruby Jane Kim: Born in South Korea, studied in New Zealand (while living with a host family) for 5 years (age 10 - 15), then moved back home and auditioned for YG Entertainment. She was accepted and began her training with YG, who asked her to study rapping because she was one of the few who spoke English fluently. She studied with YG for 5 years and 11 months, while the company shuffled other trainees into and out of the group, trying to find the best combination before letting them debut. The group was originally supposed to be called "Pink Punk," but the name got changed (thank goodness!) to Blackpink. Jennie was the first member to be publicly announced, pre-debut. If you seriously want to "get to know" her true personality, she has appeared on South Korean variety shows (like "Knowing Brothers," "Running Man," and most recently "Apartment 404"), and with the other members on the episodic show "Blackpink House," which is my favorite. There is also the "Born Pink Memories" (BPM) series that shows behind-the-scenes footage at rehearsals, performances, etc. Jennie does also have another solo song, titled "Solo" that I'm sure you'd enjoy. I can watch for your reactions to the other members' solo work and give you a synopsis for each of them, if that would be helpful. (If it wasn't 2 AM here, I'd be typing them out right now, but we old farts need our sleep!) As for Blackpink songs, they debuted in 2016 with a mini-album (Square One), which included 2 songs, "Whistle" and "Boombayah". They don't have a huge discography (mainly because YG has a habit of keeping them off touring for a few years at a time), but every song they've released has been “a banger” as many reactors are fond of saying.
