It's not about the flowers. It's not about the lemons. It's not about the dishes. It's about the fact that those are things she cares about and because he doesn't care about them it's automatically a non-issue to him instead of taking some time out of his day to help her with the things she cares about.

She communicated pretty clearly what she wanted. She wanted him to help her and clearly expressed that desire. And then he said she was “acting crazy” because she was complaining about his inaction. She is frustrated with a consistent pattern and he refuses to change because he’s immature and is not willing to change. I despise people like Gary, have met people like Gary, and have a brother exactly like Gary….. she is not the problem here. If I were her I would have left immediately. I agree with how he should have handled it and both parties should not have yelled. But she is frustrated!!! And is a human being…. When this becomes a pattern you get damn tired. You would know that…. As a pro!

. . . . most women aren't looking for a project, they get a jack in a box of a boyfriend. Let me put it this way, a comedian once said some men pretend to be a 10 in personality until they get the girl. After they got the girl, they slowly reveal their real level in personality like a 4. Now, she's wondering wth while cleaning the kitchen, doing the laundry and vacuuming the car, 'what happened to the guy I was dating.' Turns out; it was a magic trick. That guy was never there in the first place.
