It was nice to look back on this interview...I remembered it so differently...Jennifer was wonderful to talk to....Now she's been so beaten up in the press....She was in Friends and doing film and was used to the press but it had not been as abusive as it would come in the Pitt years...A very talented actress whose movie time is still to come...maybe soon....A strong woman...maybe too much for some of the wimpy Hollywood types...

Yes, it is very true and you can see it in her interviews that were taken during the last 10 years or so what the *effect* of Fake News has had on her. Right here you can see her as honest, down-to-earth and open as it can be for an actress in Hollywood. In recent ones you see her holding back and being less spontaneous. Sad to see what that harm has done to her. Further. You are absolutely right that she did *not* deserve the treatment she was receiving from the lying and deceitful press back then, following her relationship and eventual divorce with Mr. Pitt. Their relationship status was just simple *clickbait* for all these huge tabloids and even news agencies you thought to be respectful and professional. Two of the hottest starts in Hollywood as a couple is as great for them as it can be. Then with the divorce, all the clickbait was gone. She was picked on because she was the *easiest* target. The most vulnerable. And after watching this great and respectful interview you had with her, in addition to your description below in the video, it becomes even more obvious. To cover the loss of their biggest clickbait object and general income that comes along with it, they made the decision to focus solely on her to receive all the hate for making an end with Mr. Pitt, even though it was mutual according to herself which I believe more than all these ignorant tabloids are spreading. Preying on the weakest is as *low* as it can get in modern society. Makes you feel really ashamed to be an American in moments like these.

LOL.. if you people really believe she is "dissing" Streisand by saying she's great, awesome and wonderful and thanking the interviewer for the comparison then you REALLY are reaching for a reason to dislike her. Sure she was taken aback by the comparison due to Babs' iconic status as any performer should be and she stated clearly that she was overwhelmed, but she was by no means dissing her by calling her wonderful and awesome and thanking the interviewer for the comparison. Open your minds!

@chookuba roo Not sure whether that is true. What are known facts is that Angelina had been married and divorced thrice by the age of 29 before she met Mr. Pitt. A lot more wild, outgoing and exciting is probably what thrilled Mr. Pitt about her. As he said himself, that she unleashed this potential within him.

Her voice is whiney but it was much more so in earlier times. She has become so fake in the last few years that she now finds it hard to be coherent, maybe that's why BP lost interest in her. She didn't like the Barbara Streisand reference although she pretended to.

I read that she broke her nose in the early 90's and had a deviated septum as a consequence. And as she got older, it gave her more breathing difficulties, explaining her voice in this interview etc. In the 00's it got worse to a point she had to undergo surgery about 10 years ago. Cosmetic was not the priority. The remainder of your comment is wrong plain and simple. Even today she is still one of the most down-to-earth and humble people you will see and meet in Hollywood. Sure, it is not easy to admire the obsession with her own hair. And yes, people have come to admit that she is too much into her looks. But Brad Pitt didn't leave her because she was fake. He found in Angelina a more interesting personality and someone who could fix his misery, which figures since she is known to be a very dominant and strong woman. She likes Barbara Streisand, as she did a recent photoshoot that was in the style of her known looks with the hair and the eyes etc.
