God's favorite Princess! Jen did such an amazing job with Shadowheart. She is my favorite character in BG3 and I love that Jen ( and all of the actors/actresses) gets the appreciation she deserves for the role. I also love her Lets Play on Twitch. Shar's blessing upon her!

The sheer joy on her face at the mention of playing in the High Rollers game was so pure.

I adore how she was so sincere in her performance that it was the one character that no matter how fun some of the options looked, I always acted with patience with her and really wanted her to open up. And when she did it was amazing and nuanced. Fabulous character and performance

Beyond beautiful and a voice you will never forget. Crazy how some times she sounds like shadow heart is talking to us. They couldn’t have chosen a better actress. Ridiculously talented she okayed that part to a T.

So surprised there are so few comments here! Jen did a wonderful job playing Shadowheart, she seems so happy and upbeat in-person, yet puts in a superb performance playing a character who is almost the exact opposite for most of the game. I love all of the origin characters and how authentic they feel, but Shadowheart also brilliantly captures so many common inner-demons and insecurities which just makes her stand out to me. On a related note, I'm also really enjoying Jen & Aliona streaming their BG3 playthrough, which would be super entertaining to watch even if they didn't get past the Campsite.

I feel like a practically knew the answers to all her questions because of how much ive watched her interviews and streams LOL. she really did such an amazing job as shadowheart and her dedication and investment really shows every single time. really, the whole cast are sooo wonderful im so happy the crew were able to convey and flesh out such in depth characters that pulled so many people into the game. really hope to see more of her work on future larian projects :D

Shadowheart is my favorite companion and the only one who is always in my party, and 95% of the reason is because of Jennifer’s amazing performance.

The Owlbear feather costume discussion was hilarious! The entire interview is just magical. You can't help but smile the biggest smile when you hear Jen's obvious joy of this game and what it has created.

we are very lucky to have such creative, beautiful and kind people as Jennifer, Aliona, Devora, Neil and other masters that brought life into the game. Also their streams are brilliant. I wish they could record TV/streaming series that would last as long as "Friends".

Is it just me or is it weird to make an interview in surround sound this prominent? i can hear the interviewer clearing her throat and breathing in my left ear while Miss English is talking in my right. Great interview otherwise, just need a sound mix IMO

The voice performances in this game and also the characters' depth in this game are utterly unbelievable! Or would be if I were not 150h+ in the game and hadn't experienced so much of it. I can feel the characters living in my game, it's uncanny. Shadowheart is one of my favourites, ngl, but everyone is so on point with their characters and the voices just spring to life the characters. Truly, this game is a massive achievement in character portrayal and voice acting work - one to remember through the ages. And it's so nice that the actress just has the most insane lovely "English" voice...

Shart is best girl. As a lesbian, i gravitated to her. Idk why, but i just resonate with her story a lot. She's such a nuanced and compelx character, and i adore her. I just wanna wrap her up in a hug.

Shadowheart is a permanent companion, even if I'm not romancing her

I think Shadowheart is the best NPC in the game, especially since I recognised her from Elden Ring

Best character in BG3. Love her arc and her sweetness. Thank you, Jen, for bringing her to life!

People also didn't like Shadowheart in early EA also because of a bug where you could get disapproval increased every time you spoke with her, which made her go into this mode where she disliked you easily unless you chose not to talk to her much. I'm glad how she turned out in later EA and in the final release.

I'm just amazed how this game is. Jennifer does an amazing job as Shadowheart. In real life she seems like a beautiful human :). Based on interviews :).

Maybe a more guarded Shadowheart could have worked at launch. The issue was who you met in EA. You had Lae'zel from another culture, who in lore are very Darwinistic. You had Astarian, who loves murder. Gale, unintentionally came across as patronising. Wyll, who could die easily in the Goblin siege at the Druid Grove, is very grounded. In that environment, Shadowheart's guardedness fed into the perception that "all the companions hate you". It wasn't helped that EA was only Act 1, so the companions were panicking about immediate destruction and didn't know who you were.

Shadowheart romance is a slow burn.

Whoever listening to this with headgear, enjoy everything your left ear senses: hearing the breathing and saliva/mouth sounds her interlocutor makes. This is a huge incompetent mistake innapropiate for a big channel.

I would like to ask the interviewer not to sit so close to the microphone and not to breathe into it, it is very distracting and it is impossible to concentrate on the interviewee
