Hits differently when you've been in an abusive relationship...

The “treat me right, you don’t have to worry” flew right over my head the first time. But now I get it. If you treat your partner right, you don’t have to worry or be possessive because your partner knows you treat them right so there is no worry of cheating.

I experienced this...but she had me under the spotlight...moved in, got engaged, had kids with her, and it wasn't even enough to convince her that I had eyes only for her. I had to leave...if that's love, keep it.
