Sarah S , I think I know what sk p meant by underrated. Unless you listen to that genre of music some one like me , who doesn’t , might not be aware of how truly fantastic she is. Her vocals are incredible. I only became fully aware of her after she was a judge on the Voice

Underrated? She's easily the best female singer on the planet if you understand voice and sound harmonics. Before her was Whitney Houston. These 2 are on a level of their own. All these Beyonce, Mariah, Agulera and other new age ones that show up on the radio these days(i dont know the names) are nowhere near Jennifer Hudson/

Jennifer is no doubt such a powerful singer with an ah-may-zing voice. I love, love, LOVE her vocals. I still can’t believe that she did not win her season of American Idol. I don’t know what those judges were thinking. And her seminal song in Dream Girls gives me goose bumps and shivers up and down my spine. Truly an amazing singer and a beautiful lady, too.
