I absolutely loved "Red Sparrow". The entrance on stage, the dance, real character building, the stress build up, so well written and performed. The end has an excellent twist. Jen Law did an outstanding performance.
Jen can do no wrong goddamn, the movie was only good not amazing but she was amazing so major props. True actors can take on any role and make it their own and she did THAT
She is my favorite actress and I have a lot of favorites but she is my number one favorite she is so reliable actress that makes her my favorite actress out there
@@red_wing It depends on the sellers. And no one can go nude just for money .like she said in the interview, she liked that character and she don't want to miss it.
Oh my gosh I feel like I'm the last one realizing this but "Red Sparrow" is literally the same movie name as "Black Swan" Just with a different colour and bird. And both movies include ballet. MIND. BLOWN.
just watched this movie and I really loved it but seeing these comments. urggh wouldn't let me change my mind and Jennifer really did so good in this movie.. love her
I love lawrence however it’s wierd when she said she took of her clothes cuz she didn’t wanna be insecure. Rejecting nudity isn’t about being insecure!
sorry this is late but she did NOT take off her clothes because of her insecurities. this easily translates to ,she would have easily taken of her clothes if not for her insecurities. Yes rejecting nudity is not insecure but she says that she only rejects it because of her insecurities
Says who?? She's saying she never wanted to go nude before because she was insecure about her body. But she didn't want to miss out on the part because of her insecurities...how are people not getting this? There's no right opinion. This is how SHE feels. She didn't speak for anyone except herself.
It sounds like if JLaw refused to do the nude scene, she would have lost out on the role. Having seen Red Sparrow, I can say the movie did not need to see her naked. That's the writer, producers, directors etc. exploiting yet another actress for a mostly male audience. I have no problem with nudity in films when it makes sense, and when men and women are both vulnerable in a scene. I really wish Jennifer had stuck her original beliefs, and that the makers of Red Sparrow had let her.
Have you read the book though? Providing its in the book, I haven't read it either, the author wouldn't have had that same intention obviously and they were prolly just sticking to source.
@@needlessoptions The director (Francis Lawrence) said that he would have changed the script if jennifer had declined, but she didn't so he didn't change it.
I don' know why people hate her. When she is honest ,people usually ask her 'Jennifer, are you drunken'?WTF??!! This lady enjouys in alchohol, but again, does that mean you should insult her? What a nice personallity . We should be happy. Many people are totall idiots when they drink . Her personallity is even more shown when she drinks . Beautiful, casual, hot, (sometimes drunken) lady.😢
I think she overreacted for the painting I thought it was pretty good actually I love what you did Ellen you're the best I love watching you you amaze me a great show love watching your low clips on RU-vid keep them up please thank you love yourself
Okay just to correct it again what I corrected I didn't say agents I said just staff I don't know what my phone voice thing typed but just saying that you guys are great okay
Hey, People all over the world watch ellen. It would be great if the video has close caption, the guests sometimes have a low voice and thick accents. Also the audio is comparatively low as compared to other channels i watch so if that could be fixed as well. Thank You.
You got it wrong. Its a part of her job as many movies include nude scenes. So if she feels weird about it then she is right calling it an insecurity. She never said that being nude in public is a matter of confidence or the opossite for someone following a different career
I have no issue with nudity if someone wants to do it, but she is a big enough star that she could have leveraged that and asked for strategic coverage/editing. I haven't seen the film and don't know what it entails but just think about how films have to cover male genitalia so that they don't get a rating that excludes so many viewers and loses money. They just get it done and don't show male genitalia while still telling the story effectively.
Without reading the book, the movie didn’t interpret anything feasible of valid information. She’s a very good actor but don’t recommend the movie at all! Didnt make sense, a lot of open-ended questions.
