There has been several times in my work that I (a female) have been paid less than the men doing the same job. In 2001 they just gave me a different job title, even though I did the same thing, plus more. Even today I make far less then the 2 guys I work with, plus I have a degree, one of them does not and after working with them, I obviously have more experience. I also have certifications, neither of them have any certs.

No, it hasn't been debunked. The pay gap exists, and the fact that women find themselves in lower paid fields doesn't debunk that women make less money. The data was simply misrepresented at the beginning with the assumption that women always make less for the exact same jobs and the exact same hours (though that does happen often, it is only a small part of the overall problem). There are also societal issues in that traditional "men's work" is viewed as higher value than traditional "women's work". Women are encouraged into caregiving roles, psychology-based careers, and the arts, which tend to pay a lot less. In most countries nurses are paid less than general labour construction workers (about the same here in Canada where I am, while plumbers and engineers make much much more - but nursing is better paid in the US ). So it has to do with the type of careers women are encouraged to pursue, as well as the systemic undervaluing of caregiving roles as "less valuable" and worth less pay. Also women have been proven to do (and be expected to do) more unpaid work throughout the world, ranging from an hour more every day to six hours more every day compared to men, taking on parental and household responsibilities significantly more often: so they are doing more work for free. There are a lot of complex reasons the pay gap exists, and I encourage you to do your own research since I can't fit years worth of research and info in a youtube comment, lol, but it's worth looking into the nuances of the social reasons for this pay gap in further detail. The fact of the matter is, women make about 25% less than men, and more women live below the poverty line in every country in the world, that data proves there absolutely is a pay-gap, whatever the reasons for it. In the industry Jennifer Lawrence is in, women are paid less for the exact same work.

Few years ago, there​ was this Sony hack, which revealed many confidential emails between producers and revealed how much different actors were paid for their work, which revealed that Jennifer was paid way less than her male counterparts despite being huge star and an Oscar winner.Other actresses who were paid less were revealed too. She expressed herself at that time that it was not fair. Passenger came afterwards, which obviously took everything that had happened into account and paid her according to her star status and ofcourse after all that revelation she herself would not have settled for less. They here in this interview are talking in context of that event.

Can you please provide scientific studies published by independent bodies that conclusively prove climate change is not "real"? No science is "real", it is proven using a systematic logic and mathematical models. The recent changes in the last 50 odd years in our climate have been repeatedly linked to human activity via something called establishing a cause and effect relationship. Check out the Royal Society's papers on that, or better yet, Trump's own funded NASA. He funds it right? Why does he? Why does he not shut down their climate change studies if it is all "fake". because it is not fake, and he is smart enough to know it too. Problem is he is capitalistic, like most of America is, and capitalism is founded on the principles of complexity and chaos. Consumerism is a perfect example of the amount of complexity that has been built into our lives physically and mentally, all fueled by capitalism. He has to be President for maximum of 8 years and mostly die soon after. He cares about making companies very happy during these 8 years, so he will go gung-ho in support of them and rebuke climate change, pull a stunt with the Paris agreement. I dare him to stop funding of all climate change studies underway currently at several publicly funded universities and institutions in America and rebuke them as fake. Why is he spending hard earned American tax dollars on fake useless studies? Because he is much smarter and cleverer than people give him credit for. If you want to know who is really telling the truth, look at who their financial backers are and what their motives could be. Unless you know statistics above the beginner level and have access to data you have no way of knowing which "side" is correct about climate change being man made, or how much humans contribute and if it matters. Have you ever heard Musk say "EV's are good for the environment"? He's a salesman, he talks all the time, have you ever heard it? Is that not the number one reason for EV's?
