Even though nobody I talk to ever seems to know this J-Lo song, for me it is her greatest song and her strongest and most emotive vocal delivery. It's a song i used to listen to constantly when i was struggling with depression many years ago and this song got me through and still means so much to me.
I actually sang this at Starmaker, The moment JLO sang this I fell in love with the song I can relate to the song ciz I felt depressed to. Abused, betrayed and rejected. But still surviving every bit of life's struggles.
Fun fact: The song was created during her honeymoon with Cris Judd. When she was filming the movie "Enough" the producers had asked her to create a song for the film. She told them it had to come organically and "not forced". When she went on her honeymoon with Cris Judd he was playing a melody that he had written on the piano, Jennifer thought it was "really beautiful", and said "I can write something to that right now, and we can use it for Enough". She then finalized the song with her long-time producer Corey Rooney. For those that think she's not a songwriter, well you are welcome! ♥️

Most movies are always produced months or even a year in advanced. Production for the "Enough" film started in May 2001. The film was officially released in May 2002, and the song "Alive" was included as the final track on her "J To Tha L-O! The Remixes" album released in February 2002. This was months before "This is me.. Then" or even "Bennifer". I've been a fan since I was 11, and I'm 32 now. Please know the facts or just don't comment at all.
i love that movie "enough". It reminds me of my mom and me when i was little, and we were alone. My mom being so young had to be strong and brave to protect us both. Now i´m 21 and my mom and i are fine. I love you mom with all my heart.

I must be the first person listening to this song on 2nd January 2021!!! Just from watching ENOUGH and it brought me here. It takes alot of courage to leave an abusive narcissist partner. I loved that movie “Enough” it was very inspiring to me and my sister who was abused by her fiancé I would like to think it inspired her to leave him like you did it takes a lot of courage I hope Anyone dealing with an abusive partner will get the power to leave

This song hits home. Hits my heart and soul very deeply. I'm a domestic violence survivor was in that situation for 10 yrs. I finally got courage to leave him. This song really hits me everytime I hear it. Because everyday I am thankful to be alive, I am thankful that I got away, etc ❤️ Yes I have permanent injuries that I struggle with everyday now. But I'm Alive, I survived. I will never let another man hit me again. After being in a domestic violence situation it changed me permanently. All I can do is keep moving forward.

As we reach 2019 i have to thank God i made it another year. This song is what made me get through what i was going thru. Because i have been in the same situation when it comes to being with an abusive men/fiance smh. But some how i got enough courage this time to fight him off me n leave him for good.. This year going to be the best year of my life because i will no longer let anyone put me down or ruin my life. I have alot to live for n not only for myself but for my kids..🙏🙏🙏

I used to sing my niece to sleep with this song back when she was 4 years old and it took me back to that time that I just burst into tears listening to this beautiful song. Now she is 9 years old and has grown up so fast. Time sure does go by pretty quickly and we are happy to still be alive and enjoying life during these crucial times.
