hey Jimmy, you could have at least recognize Shakira as she’s also part of the show and undeniably the main reason why their halftime show is viewed over 100 million times (check the youtube views of Shakira’s music videos with over a billion views) plus there’s no disrespect for Jlo but hey Jimmy, Shakira is Shakira period at least give her the credit and respect that she deserves! Both Shakira and Jlo nailed it and are great performers in their own rights.

José Diaz i am not trying to discredit Jlo because her success is undeniable too. I both adore Shakira and Jlo and I do not need to argue as to who has the music videos with the most billion views as the facts based on RU-vid records say it all. Yes this is a Jlo interview but mentioning Shakira as part of this halftime show’s success even a single time and in the simplest of way is the more polite and appropriate thing for an interviewer to do. Not spreading the hate for Jlo here because I am clearly trying to call out Jimmy for his insensitivity.

Yeah I can't believe she didn't give Shakira any respect n credit for her performance! Shakira had so much energy n fun on stage. JLO had to put the pole in the performance.🙄🙄 Had nothing to do with the theme of their performances. Shakira came out looking FLAWLESS, natural, and authentic. She stayed true to her roots! Her performance made sense. She came out, set the bar too high that I expected JLO to deliver. Tbh I expected more from JLO....JLO is too much of a perfectionist though. Her face can not lie. She's too serious and tries too hard with all that make up packed on where as Shakira had fun on stage. I loved her natural sexy messy look.😂😅 I'm sorry, but JLO couldn't keep up and yet she's getting all the damn credit!!!

I met her in person here in Fortaleza Ceará Brazil in the World Cup having dinner with her husband and newborn Milan in a simple restaurant. Anyone who wanted to speak to her was greeted with a wide smile. Everything you said about her is the other way around. She is not pretentious. She's smart, sweet and humble.She works hard at shows and tours, and has several characteristics that EVEN MAKES anyone a pretentious person. But she is not. So...do you think that Jimmy Fallon didn't interview her for the reasons you've mentioned?I think at least he could have interviewed her too, because THE TWO composed the halftime show and it was beautiful when Shakira came in at the very end to sing WAKA WAKA. I love JLo and Jimmy. But the way he did it, it looks like it was a one-person show. Shakira doesn't need self-assertion to give interviews. She speaks Portuguese better than me ..... and 5 more other languages. And with all that, with all the talent she has, vocal, as a songwriter, as a dancer flows in a very light way....

I love how she says that she wanted to " feel good". I think so much about what makes a great performance great is that the performer needs to have a mixed feeling of a little nervous but extreme excitement and HAVE FUN while performing!!!! I'm PRican too but I don't attribute my looking younger to that, I have light skin friends that are older who look younger than some of my Latina friends. It really bothers me that Shakira fans are constantly trashing JLo as if JLo has done something wrong. Like im a fan of JLo and Shak. I just don't understand why? The both did an AMAZING performance representing Latin power and people got to do a versus between them? JLo has a lot of charisma and is very personable Shakira is very shy and doesnt do much interviews she likes her privacy. Had a crush on shakira since early 2000s when she came out with the music video "whenever wherever" . You can tell when you watch them perform her moves were spot on, some of JLos moves were kinda choppy. Just look at the part where they both do the bodyroll, Shakira's flows so smooothe...she's full of talents and such a sweetheart
