Well umm, yes but what about Akon? I think a lot of his songs were in the late 2000s but idk :T Edit: oops nvm I agree with you he was in the 2010 era 😬😅
We really went from nightcore to slowed and reverb😭 something about songs being slowed down makes it a whole different song and a different feeling, this should have a million of views already 💕
Their is also a second name for slowed songs its 'Daycore' its just slowed meanwhile Nightcore is a bit speed up. I personally love Daycore way more then Nightcore. I kinda hate Nightcore ngl.

“It’s a new generation of party people.” Jennifer Lopez predicted this era so well and after she said this, it started a huge American/global party era lol. It wasn’t just 2011 but it was 2008-2016. Here’s what happened from what I can remember. Obama was president for this entire era. He was the most swag and cool president we ever had in America. He did a lot and I mean a lot. There wasn’t much political unrest and it was pretty much the opposite. During this period there was a lot of progress in America and I mean a lot. Here’s some of the insane things that happened during this era. Live action Movies were at their peak. Disney movies were at their peak in this era. partying became a huge thing in this era. Cartoon Network was huge, nick was huge and Disney channel was huge. Adult cartoons were at their peak during this era and cable TV was really good. The radio was amazing and played loads of good songs that never got you bored or tired, particularly pop radio, EDM radio and a little bit of hip hop radio. A lot of peoples lives were at peak levels during this era. (Remember that your life is still good now even if it doesn’t feel as insane as before) video games were crazy during this era. Minecraft, wii sports, Mario 2010s games, sonic 2010s games, Pokémon 2010s games, PlayStation, Xbox, PC gaming, GTA San Andreas and GTA 5 when it was released 2013 and soooo much more 😂😂😂 Avicii, David Guetta, Zedd, Calvin Harris, Adele, NE-YO, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Nikki Minaj, Usher, Jason Derulo, Drake, Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, Afrojack, Krewella, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Pitbull, deadmau5, Kaskade, Nicky Romero, Krewella, Jennifer Lopez, Ellie Goulding, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Coldplay, One Republic, One Direction, Selena Gomez, Kesha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Edward Maya, Vika Jigulina and Ariana Grande were all at peak levels during this era as well as so many many and many different artists from this era. Social Media was extremely wild at this time, being a safe space for everyone to come together and enjoy each other. Facebook was amazing, RU-vid was having its golden era, Instagram was super chill and Twitter was a pretty friendly place. Yahoo was a pretty popular place for emails, Skype was pretty or decently popular, Netflix was the biggest and most dominant TV and movie platform, pandora was a pretty huge music app and gmail was great. Flash games were extremely popular during this time which means if you didn’t have cash for consoles and games, alternatives were always available. Cartoon Network games were astronomical. The Disney and nick websites were fairly decent but not as good as Cartoon Network when it came to the games. Mobile devices were great during this time. You didn’t get bullied for having an android, iPhones were great during this time, iPods and iPads were big and tablets like the Kindle fire were huge. School was great for many of us during this time. Whether your peak was in elementary, middle, high school or college, everyone had the best time in school. Good friends, good dance parties and celebrations and common companionship with one another. People didn’t get made fun of as much and no one really called anyone ugly as much. The holidays felt super real such as st Patrick’s, April fools, 4th of July and the parties included in that day, Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas for sure and of course New Year’s Eve/Day. There’s so much crap and progression that happened in America and all over the world during this era and it was insane. Jennifer Lopez predicted this era super well and 2008-2016 was a party that everyone was invited to even though she said the words she said in the song in 2011. To be continued…
Between 2008 and 2016, America did see lots of political unrest, including series of terror attacks. Not to mention the riots in Ferguson, Baltimore, St Louis, etc. . After Obama's election, the country witnessed the rise of a white supremacist reactionary movement (one that would be further empowered after Trump's election in 2017). Obama seems "cool" thanks to American propaganda, but many don't realize that Obama destroyed Libya alongside Hilary Clinton, and his drone strikes killed thousands of civilians in Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Trump wasn't any better for the world than Obama, but he was much worse for America. In terms of school being great for everyone; not really. This is just subjective because everyone has different experiences. And from experience, millions of people who attended school in that area can testify that they actually did get made fun of and were called ugly. The only real difference now is that this generation has become more sensitive and louder about bullying, which is a good thing, because victims of bullying have a larger voice now than they did before. Also, in terms of partying, people have always been partying from disco parties in the 80s to pop rock/punk parties in the 90s. In the early 00s hip-hop/pop/R&B became even more popular, but it was during the late 00s and early 10s that EDM just so happened to become everyone's party anthem. People will naturally see their adolescent or childhood years as a 'party era'.
you live a very privileged life if you think there wasn't much political unrest or that obama was the "coolest" president lol. how out of touch you are
@@haley7381 frr, it reminds me of when i went to the fair with my crush last week on monday and we were on the waltzers (spinning cups) and they were going so fast, the cups themselves were spinning and so was the area the cups were on, when this song hit the “lalalala” everyone screamed this song so loud and me and L (crush) were screaming and shouting this song with the best feeling ever and we kept bumping into eachother. i love her so much and i can’t wait to go other places with her😩
The way this song is the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to lyrics but godtier in every other way is truly the most iconic part. It practically puts a gun to your head and commands you to dance
this version gives me the power to go through any obstacles in life, to all students and anybody struggling, ur gonna reach your happy destination one day...

I first heard the slowed version of this and loved it and when I heard the actual version I was disappointed with how fast it was 😂😂 It’s so much better and cooler sounding slowed down. Feels like I’m super powerful and strutting around a fancy fabulous party
I was thinking this while just listening cause some of the beat in the music isn't as recognisable as it could be but that's why slowed music is THE BEST 😂👌
I'm a DJ and the sad reality is that people just don't dance and party like they used to in the 2010s and the decades before. sad reality but be glad it happened
Dude no kidding I’ve had a very depressive week and like I was loosing myself mentally and when I read “the thing you’re fighting so hard to hold onto is right in front of you” I kid you not right infront of me is a mirror im just freaked out rn
This song brings life it’s so much more to come in life whatever you going through is only temporary promise me live it up even if you think it’s boring there’s someone who didn’t wake up this morning
I am turning 18 in 1 hour now, playing this song since it used to be my favorite song when I was 13 years old, seeing how far I came in my life, and now a new chapter of my life begins! Edit: Thank you guys so much for all the likes and birthday wishes, it means a lot to me ❤️
