I think it’s because she’s doing like a Black music tribute and people didn’t understand why they asked a Latino to do it, especially a Latina woman who has been known to rip off a handful of black artists without given credit.
People salty af, she did amazing for being her age. These youthful ass artist be scamming people for money by lip singing & not dancing. 🤣 Probably seen some in the crowd. At least JLO tried.

Um hello? Rihanna is a singer. She’s not a trained dancer. Duh. JLo on the other hand claims to be a dancer so the expectation is higher if that’s her actual niche, obviously. Reality tho, she’s not a very good dancer. That’s facts. If you watched the documentary, the other fly girl dancers on the show “In Living Color” said she was the worse dancer and on top of that, she was snobby, trashy, a shit talking ugly, mean diva. The director didn’t want to hire her until Rosie Perez stepped in and got her on the show, but for no reason at all, JLo turned on Perez and started trashing the one Latina female who put her on the map and gave her a chance when the other dancers, choreographer, and director wanted nothing to do w JLo when she first started. She also auditioned multiple times and never got in; she was genuinely terrible. Watch the doc. She betrayed people who took risks, supported, and fought for her. JLo is just not a good person, it’s unfortunate bc she could elevate women of color but she plays into the jealousy, catty game. So sad.

Lol the point was their energy levels did not match in this performance and it was glaring. No one's saying it makes her trash but I just don't know why they chose this crossover.
I don’t know why people get surprised when they see a woman close to her fifties in good shape. All the women of jlo’s age that I know are in great condition as her (the healthy ones). I think that people are stuck with the old idea that a 50 year old woman must look like your 70 year old grandma. Fortunately, this has changed for good, that’s why I don’t see that jlo did something extraordinary.
I don’t know why everyone is saying the routine was made simple for jlo!!!! Jlo and RFC are 2 different types of dancers just cause she doesn’t dance like that doesn’t mean she can’t dance and besides RFC dances only in sneakers in this performance they all had HEELS ON

that look Nicki was giving j, lo right then at 0.25 that mucking look! that's why people hate her! there was no reason for her to be looking at j.lo like that! the disrespect of some people! I understand why many black people were mad that they choose j.lo to do a tribute to the Black music but hell, at least show her some respect! but I do agree that allowing j.lo to do this when it was a black tribute isn't right! and j.lo as a person if she had any morals and sympathy to the black community she would've refused!

I've seen this routine when they normally do it and they def made it easier for Jen cuz she would've hit the floor after 30 seconds of doing it at their "normal" speed! Wooooo...girlllllll!!! These kids are fucking awesome!!!
