I was a little kid when this song came out and I remember it was always on the radio and on tv. I remember my mom and my older sister would always sing along to it whenever it came on. The song was so hypnotic to little me. It’s crazy running into this today and hearing it for the first time in decades, now being able to understand what the song is about. Nostalgic and bittersweet feeling. Sweet good times growing up.

Saw the new Resident Evil movie yesterday, and it has one of the weirdest (and possibly unintentionally funniest) uses of this song I've ever seen in a movie.

My grandad was singing this while he was decorating he didn't know me and my Nana were watching him while he was using the paint brush as a mic. One of the funniest things I have ever seen.

The first time I heard this song in 1997 I was blown away in pieces as to what a great song it is. I actually met JP at in Hollywood on Halloween 1997 .
