Nephew 💙 just finished watching the Carlos/Jen/Christin interview, and I came away not knowing "exactly/details of what transpired the night in question. Christin NEVER explained in detail about how this young lady sustained her injuries, or what led up to her injuries. All I heard is (from other sources) is that she eventually "jumped out of a window". As I recall, Christin stated that "the so-called incident stemmed from the both of them having a heated argument. Now I have had arguments in the past, but not once did I EVER think in "that" moment, that it would be a good idea to jump out of a window. "Make it make sense ". 🖤🖤🖤

Document everything so people like this won’t have excuses. Every restraining order that gets violated or every “false imprisonment “, document all threats and signs so these people have a record and have less excuses to fight the “accusations”. This man has one case on record and was still able to spin the story so plz document everything. They NEVER change and so many victims can benefit if they’re history is documented

Maybe it’s called it ends with us but either way I wish someone OUTLINED how it shows up. Even the movie didn’t capture the small emotional abuse it comes with. The sad thing is that the youth have so many people who don’t know how to regulate emotions. Whether man or woman, I think DV will rise which means homicides will grow too. I've seen the abuser and the victim who can't leave because "the kids need a father in the house" 🙄 Such backwards thinking, even at 8 years old it never made sense to me 🤔 when the kids are the ones calling the police. I vowed to myself to NEVER be involved with anyone who could physically beat me and then say they love me. I escaped the cycle but someone close to me did not. And so it begins again and it's sad because you've seen this movie and your trying to spoil the ending and warn the person but they don't want to hear it. It's sad
This was kind of hard to digest. My 19 year old son and I are awaiting trial September 17th of this year for my husband physically violently assaulting us with a metal baseball bat. I had been going through abuse from him for 13 years. He is also due in Circuit court here in November for physically assaulting me in a case from 2016. And he would say stuff like it was embarrassing for the police to arrest him on his job. He Never thought about how hurt I was, mentally emotionally or physically. He Never felt wrong or bad for the fact that my kids would hear me crying or screaming or looking at my eyes being blacked, hair pulled from the roots. When he beat my son in the head and blood was raining all over me, I mentally checked out! That was it. I wish I would have valued myself more. I wish I would have left long ago, but I didn't. I was scared. I was naive everytime he said he was sorry, or brought me gifts. I loved him. I didn't love me. Now, since all of that, I do. I understand my worth. And I have no love for a person who does this type of thing. A user, an abuser, and a ninja always playing victim and failing to realize that they're severely f'd up in the head to think they did no wrong. Thank you for covering this in such a way that ppl may finally see that domestic violence is real.

If I understood you correctly, you stayed with this person (can't call him a man) because you did not value yourself. Not trying to be critical or shady. Just really would like to know, what about your child? If you didn't value yourself didn't you love him above everything or anyone else to motivate your leaving and moving him out of harms way? This is a question I've heard many ask when hearing stories such as yours. The thought is ever present, what about protection for the children? Thanks for any enlightment on this subject

The girl’s mother knew the police had a warrant & so the mom called him to the apartment, to pack a bag for the daughter, knowing he would not suspect a set-up! He fell for it & was arrested! Now of course this could be a wrong theory, & everything I just wrote is alleged but it is my opinion. I think the mom was GENIUS, & I would have helped with him being apprehended, especially with my child being laid up in hospital, possibly injured for life! That girl more than likely now suffers from chronic pain! Just terrible!🥲
