Like everyone else on the planet, Jenny Ball is basically stuck at home in Mexico City, riding out the global shutdown due to COVID-19. But after years of being on the road with her band, Jenny and the Mexicats, the singer/trumpeter is finally allowing herself to enjoy a little downtime. Mostly with her dogs. Here, Jenny tells us more about her two pups, the other pets she’s had in her life, and her (somewhat) unusual animal interest as a kid. She also talks about the restaurant she recently opened … right before the pandemic shut everything down. Life can be inconvenient. Dogs help.
