Wrecked it with the generic bass kick. Like a lazy copy of the worn out psy and drumcode. Sounds like everything today. Everything. Conformed. Mainstream. One day you guys might snap out of this rut you are all in. Maybe. Who knows when. Its only been about 20 years of this same conformity. There really is nothing that stood the time test after 2004. Compliance with standards and accepted boundaries has the whole thing in decay. Im still convinced 2004 was the end of unique quality and adventure. I STILL find better music in the 90s on discogs, in every style, than ANYTHING coming from today. Its endless. Even the average stuff is better than today. If its not on vinyl, it seems its not worth bothering with. Its sad. Its because of the conformity. We got into labels like Bonzai and XTC because of the detachment from conformed music. That was the whole thing i thought? What happened to you guys man. Used to be so groundbreaking with every label. It seemed like it was DAILY getting better. I couldn't keep up with the freshness and advancement, but now... now its gone completely. There is nothing unique at all. This track rmx is evidence. Did Jens approve this? That generic kick? Wow. At least its ready to be "sold" to the mass on their digi PCs. Haha
This is our Mix, the original from 1992 is also mine (Prayers) we also did a Rave Mix and one more. And I can tell you I tested this on the best Techno Parties here in Cologne and the new generation loves it! It's always a matter of taste, and you cant satisfy everybody and we dont want ;)
@@JensLissat Yeah, of course they love it. Its sounds just like their modern 'replicate' of our 90s music. There isnt ONE SINGLE original thought or venture coming from these closed circle groupie types of today. Not one single thing. Its all counterfeit copy. All they do is add this generic horrible beat on FLStudio and they call it their own. They even stole the term DISC JOCKEY, yet they don't use discs, they use PCs. If they had any integrity they would call themselves PCJs. Or CJs. Computer Jockey. They are so LAZY and uncreative. Almost zero talent today. Both in production and DJing. They don't even deserve blokes like you making music for them so they can press "play" and pretend to do what we did, but with 2% of the effort and passion. They have no idea past their iphones and digi music players. They are social media drones and if music isn't at the "accepted" social media standard, they won't touch it. You just admitted to me that you sold out. For a lesser thing. This attitude was unheard of in the 90s. Thats why is was such high quality, because you didnt compromise with C&C Music Factory style. You went full mainstream. It makes no sense mate. Let them make this rubbish. You dont need to assimilate with them unless you are desperate to still be relevant. Or you want some cash? You had a decent run man. You made some of the best trance and tech tracks in history. I still drop that stuff and people love it. This is why techno is in a serious decay. Because you original masters sold it to the mainstreamers. Made it a product. Cheers for that. I hope it was worth it. Guys at Flatlife records seem to ignore these mainstreamer groupies and are making fantastic fresh beats. ON VINYL too. Some great Acid tech getting around today. They never use drumcode Psy baselines and kicks in their tracks because they GET IT. And they care about OUR love of quality beats. But anyway, just like over 90% of the old skool producers, you have chosen to compromise. Its just all going into the void like EVERYTHING from 2004 onward. I cant find ANYTHING past 04 that is even worthy to drop in a trace/tech set. Its embarrassing. Its all David Guetta level of talent and effort now. Anyway. Take care. @@JensLissat bet you did not test it on a decent car audio install. That bass is just horrible and will not stand any real audio/bass/classics fanatic test. As I said before, it is just a bad regurgitation of a very good song, same as with 95% of the songs these days, regurgitating the same bad bass everywhere and not adding anything new to it. Praying on perfect songs and samples to just try and make "something new" and money
@@JensLissat festival speakers are not nearly the same as a decent audio system.. If you compare stage speakers with a decent audio system then imo you really should not be in the music business… The bass in these songs are flat.. festival speakers are tuned and the bass is augmented higher than in a normal system. Again, try the song on a decent audio system or in a car with a decent audio system and you’ll notice. Fyi, I tried it in my car, which has a more than decent audio system, although I hate the new releases. Without adding 50Hz to the bass it is as flat as can be, the subs don’t even move with a low pass filter set at 80Hz
