He seems so cool. They all seem so cool. But if I ever had the pleasure of meeting them I wouldn't be able to keep eye contact. Which is a shame sense they'd be so close :/
In other interviews where Jensen talks about Dean and at the cons. :)) I understand about the being patient part, so excited, but Its Jensen Ackles! He always comes through, no matter what the writers throw at him. Just 9 more days and we'll all get to watch Supernatural, cant wait.
I do believe Dean will get a myth arc. In another interview, he elaborated more on the 'secret' he's holding from Sam, and said it had to do with how Sam begins to heal. He then said that it will come back to haunt him, bite him, etc. We do know Death is coming back this season, so I feel like Dean may do a deal with him.
i agree... even with d few flaws it has supernatural is d best tv show i ve ever seen!!! n i loved season 8.... im eager to see wat d show hs in store for its loyal fans... especially wd cas human n all...
Can I just give a shout out to the one who specifically asked Jensen about Dean's arc, even if there wasn't much of an answer as usual. Also, to all those who keep on with the "wait and see" attitude...fans always say that to those of us who are worried every year, and so we always wait and yet nothing ever comes. Dean hasn't had a big mytharc since season 5 and it looks like he never will, so give the cynics a break, they've been around long enough to know not to be naive anymore.
look,i agree with everyone who's upset about Deans lack of story arc,but still,as a supernatural fan and a Dean/Jensen fan there's nothing i can do but hope they'd listen to our complaints and do something about them,but if not, then i'll keep on watching anyway cause with all its flaws supernatural is the best show i've ever seen and no matter what i'm gonna keep on supporting it.so please do the same.
This is the first season I'll be watching "live" on television...I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle days/weeks between episodes. Especially if there's going to be more "wrenches" and secrets...I'll be insane before Christmas!!!
i saw him at the panel today and ohmygod he is 10x hotter in person let me tell you. Misha is adorable and jared is really tall and his hair looked very fluffly.
I like how they 'Oooo' when he says Dean's going to be keeping a secret from Sam. Yeah, that's totally new. It's not like we've seen that with Benny or memories of Hell or John's orders to for him to kill Sam or anything.
Relax. Just because J2 are both making comments like this doesn't mean that's all the Winchesters see Cas as. It's been shown how much they love him. But you also can't ignore the fact that yes, his angel powers have indeed been of great use to them. I just don't think Jensen and Jared are articulating well, that's all. It does sound a little cold but I really don't think they mean it that way.
What type of people/characters are around Dean in this season that they have never really written in before? (Well not as much) He is wondering about those characters and if he might have anything in common with them. Have you seen the interviews of Collin and Sheppard? They give a lot away about the entire season 9
Just a theory, but I bet the secret Dean is hiding from Sam is [POSSIBLE SPOILERS] that at the end of Season Eight, when he told Sam to let go, that Dean actually knowingly took the trials on himself somehow. I hope this is the case, because I thought it was a cop-out that they threw that whole storyline out the window at the last second.
I don't watch any interviews or anything; just the show. I've got to be honest here. I've never heard his not-Dean voice in my entire life. It was bizarre. What a sweet guy, though.
There is a story line for Dean, but they just started working on the first episode. Give them some time and by the way have we forgot Jensen is a new dad too. Have patience because you know Jensen's acting skills are going to knock you off your chair. Just saying. :))
I think this secrect Dean is keeping from Sam might be him giving Sam demon blood without his knowledge, so he neutralizes the effect of the trials and keeps him alive this way. Does this make any sense? :P
I listened to Misha's interview and I heard nothing to indicate that he and Dean will ever be more than friends. I almost wish they would be, but it's not gonna happen. They made it clear that Dean's secret isn't about him, it's about Sam (as almost everything on SPN is). As always, Dean will not have any story arc about him, because the writer and showrunner don't think he's as important as Sam, or Cas either for that matter. So as always Jensen has nothing much to say about his storyline.
You know the secret that dean is keeping from sam it could be what he and father talked about in 8x22 dean said he needed help maybe the father helped him in two ways???
Sorry, but we always get told 'be patient, they have something good planned for Dean' but then of course, nothing. There's a lot planned for Jared. There's a lot planned for Misha, but for Jensen? They have nothing yet, they're just throwing some ideas out there to see what sticks? The character of Dean is so insignificant to Carver and Singer that they haven't even got a story idea for him yet? And where are some you seeing these 'hints' about Dean and Cas because I see nothing anywhere.
Sorry, but I just have to say that Jensen gets better looking with time. And don't bash on me but he would be SO perfect to play Christian Grey. I know he'd never want the role. So sad....

second that, every single word absolutely true, can say did'nt see it coming till past season but hoped till the last moment that was wrong, but they did it again so simply wont bother to watch the show as i did'nt since past half season & look for dean clips on youtube instead. as long as dean fans continue to watch(=ratings) no matter how crap**** tptb treat dean=jensen nothing will change, prove? ratings stay up even if dean is treated like that since s5 end, worst s7, even worst s8 & now 9

HINT: It has to do with CAS!!! :P HINT 2: Re-watch the last season, what happens around Dean a lot recently? . . . People wise. HINT 3: Its something a lot of people are 100% sure won't happen, so think about Deans character especially in the beginning, and now switch it around :P
Why? Getting all riled up about Cas? Are you calling Jared a prick too? He basically said the same thing. I think you guys are making too much of this. It's been shown and proven how much Dean cares about Cas, but it's also true that him being an angel was very helpful to them. I think that's all Jensen meant. And where were you guys when Cas waas lying to/betraying THEM?
So much negativity! calm down you guys, of course they cant say much, they JUST FUCKING STARTED FILMING. And they've released a ton already, probably more than they wanted to, keep faith you guys, this does look like a good season and it sounds like they have a good plan. Just keep calm and have more faith in the show you're supposedly "a fan of."
Everyone always says that the next season won't be good. for me it should have ended on season five. but that doesn't mean I don't love the next seasons. I love them, I love the characters the way they've grown. I just think the storyline itself it's getting boring, like Sam and Dean constantly fighting. In any case we'll have to wait to see if it's good or not.
has any of the cast mentioned the online rumors of Bobby's Singer's daughter coming to the cast in season 9? several sites are reporting this character as angst and revenge driven young woman out to get the Winchesters for the role in her father's death and bitterness of not being raised by bobby...
Deans secret has to do with how he "heals" sam-not about his love life. Which by the way-Its NOT cass-Jensen would never let that happen-nor would Bob Singer. The cas fans that want that and think is going to happen are going to be disappointed. Its NEVER going to happen.
I hate these "secrets" between Dean and Sam. They always lead to boring and irritating conflict between the two. I am tired of that already. Hope the season is better than it sounds. Just grateful to be able to see Jensen and Jared again.
Jared said in his own interview that the writers realize that the conflict between the brothers is played out and that they were going to try and keep things smooth. Both Jensen and Jared prefer the "same page" thing.
Dean will to, I assume. He was a HUGE playboy in the first couple seasons. And he has a secret now . . .well, not really, everyone I know already knows the obvious secret. Which is part of the hole Dean relationship thing. :P
I think it's going to be Tyler Hoechlin from TW that will be Batman in the crossover flick that's coming up. But yes....Ackles as Bruce Wayne? Finnnneee. :)
